Worship Service

  • Next Sunday – May 23
    • Holy Qurbana Service in English at 10:15 am (Live Streaming)
    • Sunday School – morning session at 9 AM

100 members are now allowed to attend the worship service and/or partake in the Holy Qurbana in person. Those who wish to attend in person, please register online and sign the waiver by Saturday morning:  https://detroitmarthoma.org/main/resources/attendance-registration/

Online Payments through PayPal

  • Please note that if you choose to send in your contribution through PayPal, please choose “Sending to Family & Friends” option. Otherwise there is 3% fee that will be taken out of your contribution by PayPal. The church will not receive the full amount contributed.

Online Weekly Prayers

  • Intercessory Prayer on Wednesday at 7 PM (via Zoom)
  • Fasting prayer this Friday at 10:30 AM (via Zoom)

Combined Prayer Meetings

  • Prayer Groups 1 & 2:  Combined prayer meeting will be held May 23rd, Sunday 6 pm via Zoom.

Sunday School

  • Diocesan Exam 2021 will be conducted virtually today, May 16 3:30-5:00 pm via Google Forms and Zoom.  All students are requested to be prepared with laptop or desktop computers to take the diocesan exams.

Yuvajana Sakhyam

  • Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam Diocese of North America and Europe Mission Board is inviting all Yuvajana Sakhyam Members to attend the first motivational talk series of this year, “Courage to identity” by Rev. Senior Fellowship

  • Senior Fellowship monthly meeting will be held on May 22nd, Saturday at 6:00 PM via Zoom.

Youth Group

  • Annual Youth Weekend programs on Memorial Weekend. Friday Night Sing (FNS) on Friday, May 28th from 6:30 – 9:00 pm in person. Lock-in will be held on Sunday, May 30th (time is TBD) virtually through zoom. Youth Group Picnic will be held on Monday, May 31st starting at 10:00 am in person. More details will follow.

Condolence & Thanksgiving Meeting

  • The Diocese of North America and Europe is organizing a Condolence & Thanksgiving Meeting on Sunday, May 16, at 4:00 PM EST to thank God for the life and Ministry of Late Most Rev. Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan. Church Leaders of all denominations will be sharing their condolences and reminiscences

DMTC Souvenir – 2021

DMTC Expansion Project Update

  • HVAC work is completed and the only thing remaining is to connect power and gas lines. DTE removed two electrical posts from our property and now we are clear to finish the parking lot remaining work. Dry wall work is expected to finish this upcoming week. Carpenter continues to work on the east wall arch inside the Madhbaha and we expect him to finish this upcoming week. Our new pews are in the builder’s workshop and they are currently staining those to match our existing pews. Bank has done their assessment on the work progress and their estimation is so far Integrity has completed 93% of the work.If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact Project convener Mr. Vinod Thomas or Parish office bearers. Please continue to support the project through your prayers and generous financial support.
