Feeling lost due to the lack of purpose (Stanley Samuel)
Psalms 107: 4-9
There are times in our lives we may feel like Israelites wandering in wilderness not knowing if this is what was in store for us from God. But during these times we should focus on our individual relationship with God. Reflecting on the word of God just like how our ancestors did.
I leave you with a few questions and thoughts:
What’s the purpose of our lives?
Do you have a goal or a vision?
No matter whatever deliberations we face, we need to focus on our vision strengthened by the examples set by our Lord and Savior.
Daily we get challenged by the community we live in, the peers we spend time with at work, schools, colleges etc. Being bullied or intimidated, being mentally challenged, living in a metric based society focused on accomplishments. Lacking empathy, lacking ability to listen, lacking a Godly vision, lacking wisdom.
Let’s understand our purpose by aligning ourselves with God’s words and knowing that his mercies endures with us forever (Psalms 107:1) and reflecting that we are brought near to God through the blood of Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:13).
CLOSING PRAYER
Lord God give me wisdom to understand your word, give me vision to understand my purpose as I journey through daily challenges. Amen
