Prayer Fellowships


  • Prayer Group #4 will have a prayer meeting on Sunday September 8th at 5:00 pm hosted by Mr. Mathew George and Family and Mr. Reji Alexander and family. The prayer meeting will be held at the church. All prayer group members are requested to join.

Youth Group


  • DMTC Merch Drop– Youth Group is selling DMTC merchandise to help fundraise for Diocesan Leadership Conference 2025. If interested place an order using the link below. Edavaka Mission


  • MTVEA Diocese of North America will have a prayer meeting on Monday, September 2nd at 8:30 pm via Zoom. Rev. Jobin John, Vicar of Staten Island Tabore MTC, will give the devotional message. All Edavaka Mission members are encouraged to attend.

Yuvajana Sakhyam


  • There will be a Midwest Regional Yuvajana Sakhyam Welcome meeting held on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 at 8 PM (EST) via Zoom. The main speaker for the welcome meeting is Rev. Binoey Daniel (General Secretary of the Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam). The theme for the meeting is “YOUTH: As Ministers and Architects of the Kingdom of God.” Requesting all YJS members and Senior YJS members to prayerfully participate in the meeting.

Sevika Sanghom


  • Diocesan Sevika Sanghom is celebrating Sevika Sanghom Varom with a  Musical Harvest event on Thursday, September 5th at 8:00 pm EST via Zoom. The event will be showcasing the richness and depth of our diverse collection of liturgical songs from across all centers and regions of the NA Diocese. Our Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa will preside over the meeting. Requesting prayerful participation from all Sevika Sanghom members.

  • Sevika Sanghom Day will be observed on Sunday, September 15th. A special song is being arranged and all Sevika Sanghom members are requested to join the practice session next Sunday, September 8th, after the service.
  • Suvishesha Sevika Sanghom Mid-West Region is hosting a one day retreat on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at Detroit Mar Thoma Church. Theme: Women – Witnesses of the Gospel – St. Luke 8: 1-3 and Rev. Jaisen A. Thomas, Vicar of St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church, Lombard, Chicago will be the main speaker. Please uphold this retreat in your prayers and encouraging all Sevika Sanghom members to attend

Onam Sadhya


  • Yuvajana Sakhyam & Sevika Sangham are organizing Onam Sadya after service on Sunday Sept 15th 2024. There is a signup sheet for items to bring, requesting support from all parish members. Encouraging all members to confirm their attendance and their family’s to respective prayer group leaders by Sept 08th, 2024. For any questions please contact convenors Mr. Philip William (Jojo) or Mrs. Annie Varghese. Please keep the event in your prayers. Any donations to support this event is welcome.

First Fruit Auction


  • We will be celebrating the harvest season with our annual First Fruit Auction today immediately after the worship service.  The auction features a diverse selection of exceptional items, ranging from exclusive artworks including limited edition paintings, unique creations and handcrafted items from our talented parish members. Gourmet treats and nostalgic dishes prepared by our culinary experts including Kappa with ellu curry, kappa with fish curry, beef fry, prawns roast, Thalassery beef biryani pothichoru, ,nadan chicken fry, a variety of pickles, and a variety of freshly made Indian snacks, cakes, desserts and many more. The auction will also offer homegrown organic vegetables, farm-fresh products, and exotic plants and unique items that are sure to intrigue and delight.

    The funds raised from the auction will primarily support the ongoing and operating expenses of the church and a portion of the funds are allocated for charity causes both locally and in India. All members are requested to wholeheartedly participate in the auction prayerfully and generously.

    We request everyone to please find a seat immediately after entering the fellowship hall so we can start the auction. Refreshments will be provided after the Auction has started. Thank you for your cooperation

Santhosh Achen – Travelling to India


  • As we have been remembering in prayer, our Santhosh Achen’s mother, Mrs. Chinnamma Chacko, had surgery last week due to an injury she sustained. Her post-op recovery unfortunately is not going as anticipated and therefore she is in the ICU currently in Kerala.

    Santhosh Achen is traveling to Kerala tomorrow, September 2nd, to support the family. Let us remember Santhosh Achen and the family in prayer particularly for Mrs. Chinnamma Chacko’s swift recovery. Further details regarding temporary arrangements for our parish will be informed based on Kalpana from the Diocese

Parish Events 2024


  • Parish Events for 2024 have been scheduled. The following are the event highlights for this summer and fall.

We request all parish members to mark these dates on your calendar and request everyone’s sincere participation

Refreshments


  • Thanks to the refreshment committee for arranging today’s refreshments.
  • As per our General Body decision the minimum expected contribution from each parish family is increased to \$100. All families are requested to contribute this amount and also encouraged to give more considering the increased cost of items. Thank you for your cooperation.

We will do our very best to live stream all church events, however as this is dependent on trained volunteers, there may be technical interruptions and occasions where live streaming is not available. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
