Passion Week Events
- Passion Week will be observed this week. All Passion Week events will occur at the church.
- “Sandhya Namaskaram”: Monday thru Wednesday, March 25th to March 27th, at 7 pm
- Maundy Thursday: March 28th, Holy Qurbana in Malayalam at 7 pm
- Good Friday Service: March 29th at 9am. Part 1 and 3 of the service will be in Malayalam and Part 2 will be in English.
Please prayerfully attend the Lenten season and Passion Week events
Senior Fellowship
- Monthly meeting of the Senior Fellowship will be held on Saturday, March 30th, at 11 am at the church. All senior members are requested to attend.
Sunday School
- Midwest Regional Sunday School will have a Teachers Retreat and Farewell Meeting for Rev. Thomas Mathew, president of the Midwest Region SS. on Saturday, April 20th via Zoom. Rev. Abraham Kuruvilla will be the main speaker. All SS teachers are encouraged to attend.
- Our VBS 2024 will be held from June 17-23. Theme for the VBS is “The Great Jungle Journey”. Please mark your calendars and further details will be provided soon. If you are interested in volunteering, please see the sign-up list in the fellowship hall or contact the conveners Mrs. Sabina Cherian, Mrs. Usha Thomas, or Dr. Suma Thomas.
- Midwest Regional Junior Camp 2024 will be held from July 19th – 21st hosted by the Chicago Mar Thoma Church Sunday School and is open to students who have completed 3rd to 10th grade. Encourage all students to attend. Please reserve the date and keep the camp in your prayers.
Yuvajana Sakhyam
- Diocese of NA Yuvajana Sakhyam is having an Activity Inauguration for the year 2024 will be held on March 24th Sunday at 8.30 pm EST via Zoom and Mar Thoma media Live. Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Diocesan Episcopa will inaugurate the activities. Rev. Sherin Tom Mathews (Vicar, Baltimore MTC) will deliver the theme message. Requesting prayerful participation of all YS members.
- Diocese of NA Yuvajana Sakhyam Midwest Region is organizing a Farewell meeting for Midwest region outgoing Achens on Thursday April 4th 2024 at 8:30pm EST via Zoom. The meeting will be presided by Rev. Aby M Thomas Tharakan (Vicar and YJS president, CMTC). Message will be given by Rev. Joymon SK (Vicar and YJS President STMTC Indianapolis). Requesting all YJS members to attend the meeting.
