Christmas Service

  • Christmas Service will be celebrated next Monday, December 25th. Holy Qurbana in Malayalam at 9:00 am. PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE

Watch Night Service

  • Year Ending – Watch night service will be held on Sunday, December 31st. Adult and Youth Sessions will begin at 9:30 PM and Holy Qurbana service in English at 11:00 PM.

Yuvajana Sakhyam

  • Meeting and Elections for the year 2024 will be held today, Sunday, December 24th after the worship service. All YS members are requested to attend.

Kitchen & Storage Facilities Study – Options for Review

  • As per General Body decision the executive committee is requesting all parish members to review options that were presented during the General Body and provide their feedback by January 14th, 2024. To streamline the review/feedback, a survey has been sent to parish members by e-mail with subject “Qualtrics Survey: Kitchen & Storage Facilities Study”.

    The survey is very simple and has a maximum of 3 questions/entries and should take no longer than 5-10 minutes. All parish members 18 years and above are welcome to participate in this survey. If parish members have not received the survey e-mail please inform the Secretary.

    For those who require assistance in completing the survey a table is set-up in the fellowship hall and Executive Committee members will be available to support. We appreciate and value your input and thank you for your participation. So far we have about a 20% participation rate we hope to see this increase in the next few weeks.

Invitation – Ecumenical Christmas Program

  • Eccumenical Christmas Program will be conducted on Friday Dec 29th, at 6PM at St Thomas Orthodox Church in Warren, MI. Christmas Message will be given by Rev. Jeswin John, vicar of SJMTC. All parish members are encouraged to participate.

Note from Trustees

  • As we are approaching the end of the year, please make sure to submit all contributions for the year 2023 on or before December 31st, 2023. All contributions received after December 31st including checks with previous date will be accounted for in year 2024.

    Also any invoices and receipts from 2023 that are to be reimbursed by the church are also requested to be submitted by December 31st, 2023. This is to help our trustees with closing the 2023 accounts and preparing reports in a timely manner.

Live Streaming of Church Events

Live streaming will be available on the church YouTube channel – https://youtube.com/@DetroitMarthomaChurch.  After clicking the link, click on “Live” and find the livestream for the respective church event.

We will do our very best to live stream all church events, however as this is dependent on trained volunteers, there may be technical interruptions and occasions where live streaming is not available. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Zeffy – Online Payment Option

  • Zeffy is a user-friendly platform for not-for-profit organizations that allows for one-time and reoccurring monthly contributions with a no transaction fee option. Contributions can be made with credit card, bank account, Apple or Google pay. We strongly encourage all members to utilize Zeffy for electronic payments. Our Trustees want to thank all the members who have utilized this method as this streamlines the financial activities of the parish.
