Worship Services

  • Next Sunday – June 12
    • 10:15 AM – Holy Communion Service in English
    • 9 AM – Sunday School
  • All are requested to wear face mask. Those who live in the same household are requested to sit together.
  • If you have a fever, cough, high temperature or any other symptoms, please stay home

Online Payments through PayPal

  • Please note that if you choose to send in your contribution through PayPal, please choose “Sending to Family & Friends” option. Otherwise there is a 3% fee that will be taken out of your contribution by PayPal. The church will not receive the full amount contributed.

  • Intercessory Prayer on Wednesday at 7 PM (via Zoom)
  • Fasting prayer this Friday at 10:30 AM (via Zoom)

Sunday School

  • Sunday School Teachers meeting will be held today Sunday June 5th at the Church immediately after refreshments. All teachers are requested to attend.
  • Graduation Day will be observed on Sunday June 19th to honor the High School Graduates of our church.

    All Graduate students and parents are requested to attend the service to participate in the dedication prayer that will be conducted during the service. Graduates or their parents are requested to contact Sunday School Superintendent, Biju Mathews, and provide the name of the graduate students who are planning to attend.

  • VBS 2022 will be held on Monday June 20th to Sunday June 26th at the church. All Sunday school children/students are requested to register online as early as possible on the VBS website. Registration is $5 per child or $20 maximum per family. $10 extra for T-shirt if desired. Registration fee and T-shirt cost is accepted through Venmo or check to the Detroit Mar Thoma Church, please write VBS 2022 and the name of the child registering in the memo.
    • VBS T-shirt designs are still being accepted. Please submit T-shirt designs to Shawn Thomas by e-mail at sthomas82@gmail.com. Designs should be in black & white and include non-copyrighted material.
    • Volunteers are needed for VBS, all those interested in volunteering are requested to submit their information on the VBS website: https://www.myvbs.org/dmtc

  • The 27th Mar Thoma Choir Festival is hosted by our church this year. The choir festival committee has extended an invitation to the respective churches.

    To make the program a blessing the Choir Festival committee warmly welcomes all the members of the Detroit Mar Thoma Church to attend the Choir Festival in person here at our church. Please keep the Choir Festival and its arrangements in your prayers.
