Worship Services

  • Year Ending Service – December 31st, Friday,

Online Payments through PayPal

  • Please note that if you choose to send in your contribution through PayPal, please choose “Sending to Family & Friends” option. Otherwise there is 3% fee that will be taken out of your contribution by PayPal. The church will not receive the full amount contributed.

Online Weekly Prayers

  • Intercessory Prayer on Wednesday at 7 PM (via Zoom)
  • Fasting prayer this Friday is cancelled

Youth Group

  • Midwest Regional Youth Conference-2021

Respected Vicars and MW Region YF Committe Members,

We had been planning for the 2021 MW Regional Youth Conference (Dec for some time. In light of the worsening situation due to the Covid Omicron variant, and in consultation with the Vicars and Youth Fellowship secretaries, the Conference shall have to be made into a virtual event. The risks surrounding holding an “in-person” event are high. Many uncontrollable factors are present in the hosting of the “in-person” Conference at St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church, Lombard Illinois. Since the safety of the participants is the primary concern and due to the unpredictable nature of the new variant, it is difficult to safely conduct an “in-person” event. The MW Regional Committee regrets the sudden change in planning.

The Conference will not be cancelled. Rather, it is being planned as a virtual event. Alternative preparations are being made at this time. A different and unique virtual platform is being utilized. Details on the new mode will be made available to Youth Fellowship Secretaries soon. Further notifications regarding the expenses will also be made shortly.

We regret that this decision had to be made but the safety of our youth is of primary concern. Please convey to the parishioners and youth of the change in the in-person event to virtual event. Please encourage the youths to participate in the virtual sessions as we still have the Main Speaker and other elements of the Conference ready.

Charity Project – Home for the Evangelist

  • As a part of new Madbaha and renovated sanctuary dedication, our general body has decided to provide a house to a needy evangelist in Kerala with an estimated budget of 13,000 dollars (10 lakhs rupees). We request every family to participate generously towards this project by donating a minimum of 100 dollars or more. Please make a check to DMTC and in the memo please write “home for evangelist”.

Trustees Appeal

  • Kindly make all the payments (Subscription, Tithe, Christmas donation and other dues) by December 31st. Your support is prayerfully appreciated.
  • All Parish organizations are requested to prepare annual reports and accounts for general body meetings.

Ecumenical Christmas Program
