COVID-19 Relief Contributions

  • As the Diocese of North America and Europe, we are committed to joining our hands in supporting the severely suffering fellow humans in India. As a mark of our solidarity with the suffering, please contribute generously for helping the needy by sending your contribution at the earliest. Diocesan Circular- 208 from the Diocesan Episcopa regarding the Covid 19 Relief contribution is attached. Please remember the people affected by the pandemic in your prayers.

Worship Service

  • Next Sunday – June 20
    • Holy Qurbana Service in Malayalam at 10:15 am (Live Streaming)
    • Sunday School – morning session at 9 AM

150 members are now allowed to attend the worship service and/or partake in the Holy Qurbana in person. Those who wish to attend in person, please register online and sign the waiver by Saturday morning:  https://detroitmarthoma.org/main/resources/attendance-registration/

Online Payments through PayPal

  • Please note that if you choose to send in your contribution through PayPal, please choose “Sending to Family & Friends” option. Otherwise there is 3% fee that will be taken out of your contribution by PayPal. The church will not receive the full amount contributed.

Online Weekly Prayers

  • Intercessory Prayer on Wednesday at 7 PM (via Zoom)
  • Fasting prayer this Friday at 10:30 AM (via Zoom)

Combined Prayer Meetings

  • Prayer Groups 5, 6 & 7: Combined prayer meeting will be held today (June 13th) at 6 pm via Zoom.

Sunday School

  • VBS 2021 – will be held from June 21st to June 27th, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm via Zoom. Students are requested to register via Google Form. If anyone is interested to volunteer to teach, help in anyway during VBS, please register using Google Form. – VBS 2021 Registration
    • VBS T-Shirt Design Competition – – Deadline THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 13th 11:59 PM; Contact Tenny Samuel.
      • We would like to involve everyone in creating our VBS T-shirt Design this year!! The rules for the T-Shirt Design Competition are as follows:
        Please create a black and white design for our VBS T-Shirt related to the Theme: Discovery on Adventure Island – Quest for God’s Great Light and/or the Theme Verse: Isaiah 60:1 (NIV)
        “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
      • Submit your design by this Sunday, June 13th 11:59 PM to Ms. Tenny Samuel via email to “tenny914@gmail.com” and feel free to contact her with any questions via cell at (586) 675-2323.
      • The winning design will be chosen anonymously and featured on the VBS T-shirt!! Thank you and excited to see what everyone comes up with!!
    • VBS Registration – Deadline Wednesday, June 16Please note that VBS Registration closes on Wednesday, June 16th 11:59 pm (EST). VBS is open to everyone – family and friends outside of our church, out of state, etc. Encourage students and volunteers to register using the link    –   https://forms.gle/pGLhQCm2x9dr3iU46
    • All participants including members of creative presentation & worship team must register via Google Form
    • Parents, please ensure that each student has his/her own device to participate in VBS
  • Memory Recital 2021 – Sunday School Students are requested to contact their respective teachers and get the assigned portions for your grade. All students are encouraged to complete this on any day before the due date Sunday, July 11th, 2021.

DMTC Expansion Project Sponsorship Update

  • Project Update: This week we were expecting to start the painting but they still working to complete  the sanding. We are expecting the painting to start tomorrow as the dry Wallers are working throughout the weekend to finish their work. Tile work is completed in the bathroom and side room. Carpenter continues to finish the Madhubaha wood panel work. They have also completed the window molding work for most of the old windows and expected to finish this work in next couple of days. We are hoping to pick up some more pace this coming week for the inside as well as outside work. If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact Project convener Mr. Vinod Thomas or Parish office bearers. Please continue to support the project through your prayers and generous financial support
  • Sponsorship Update: There are still more items that are available for sponsorship. We request individuals/group/Organization to sponsor some of the remaining items. For any further information, please contact church trustee Mr. George Koshy (248-615-1888). (Please list below).
