Election of Office Bearers for the Year 2021
- Notification from Rev. Varghese Thomas (Vicar & Returning officer) is attached.
- All prayer groups and church organizations are requested to elect their representatives to the executive committee on or before December 5th.

- Due to current Covid situation only 25 members are allowed to attend the worship service and all are allowed to partake in the Holy Qurbana. Those who wish to attend the worship service and to partake in the Holy Qurbana at the church please register online and sign the waiver by Saturday morning.

Online Payments through PayPal
- Please note that if you choose to send in your contribution through PayPal, please choose “Sending to Family & Friends” option. Otherwise there is 3% fee that will be taken out of your contribution by PayPal. The church will not receive the full amount contributed.
Online Weekly Prayers
- Prayer Meetings on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7 PM by Zoom
- Fasting prayer on Friday at 10:30 AM by Zoom
Sunday School
- World Sunday school day offertory will be collected and the funds will be completely utilized by the Diocese for the ‘Kids for Kids’ project. Please mail the checks to our church address with “World SS Day” in the memo by Nov 22nd.
- Christmas Carol Service: All students (pre-school thru 12th grade) who are interested in participating for this year’s virtual Christmas Carol service program please provide your names to your teachers or to Sincie Chacko or Elsa Varghese by today.
Edavaka Mission
- Edavaka Mission General Body meeting & monthly meeting will be held on November 22nd, Sunday at 5:30 pm via Zoom. Office bearers for the year 2021 will be elected at this meeting.
Senior Fellowship
- Senior Fellowship General Body meeting and monthly meeting will be held on November 28th, Saturday at 6.00 pm via Zoom. Office bearers for the year 2021 will be elected at this meeting.
Sevika Sanghom
- Sevika Sanghom General Body meeting & monthly meeting will be held on December 5th, Saturday at 5:30 pm via Zoom. Office bearers for the year 2021 will be elected at this meeting.
- Sevika Sanghom is planning to give education aid to the children of Evangelists working in the Mission fields. Requesting your kind hearted support and please make check to Detroit Marthoma Church and in the memo write Sevika Sanghom Project.
Prayer Groups 5 & 6
- Prayer groups 5 & 6 will have a prayer meeting on December 6th, Sunday at 5:00 pm via Zoom. Prayer group leader for the year 2021 will be elected at this meeting.
Yuvajana Sakhyam
- Yuvajana Sakhyam General Body meeting and monthly meeting will be held on December 12th, Saturday at 6:00 pm via Zoom. Office bearers for the year 2021 will be elected at this meeting.
Choir
- Choir General Body Meeting will be held on 13th December 13th, Sunday at 5 pm via Zoom. Office bearers for the year 2021 will be elected at this meeting.
Youth Group
- Youth Group will have a Saturday Night Sing (Praise and Worship Night) on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 6 PM via YouTube Live and our Youth Group encourage everyone to attend virtually.
DMTC Project Update
- Brick work is continuing and Dome will be installed in the next week. Parking lot construction is starting tomorrow and back side parking lot access will be limited in the coming weeks. If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact Project convener Mr. Vinod Thomas or Parish office bearers. Please continue to support the project through your prayers and generous financial support.
