Condolences

  • Detroit Mar Thoma Church expresses our deepest condolence at the sad demise of Mrs. Mariamma Isac, 100 years old, mother of our Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev.Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa on Thursday, July 16th, 2020 in Cherukole, Mavelikara. Let us praise God for the Blessed life of Ammachi and pray that God may strengthen the dear ones with the peace that passeth all understanding.

    The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday July 22, 2020 at 10 AM (IST) at home followed by viewing from 11:00 AM (IST) at Cherukole Mar Thoma Church, Mavelikara. Second part of the Service will be at 3:30 PM (IST). (Live streaming starts July 21, Tuesday at 11:30 PM EST)

Online Weekly Prayers

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 PM by Zoom
  • Fasting prayer on Friday at 10:30 AM by Zoom

Senior Fellowship

  • Monthly meeting will be held on Saturday, July 25th at 6.00 pm via Zoom

Sunday School

  • The last date to complete Memory Verse recital is July 19th.
  • VBS – An on-line VBS will be held from July 27th. A video will be made available on the church website during that week..

Edavaka Mission

  • Edavaka Mission is planning to give financial support to our Evangelists working in the Mission fields and needy community in Kerala. Requesting your kind hearted support. Please make check to Detroit Marthoma Church and in the memo write Edavaka Mission Project. Mail the check to church address.

DMTC Project Update

  • Project committee and Executive committee are planning to start the construction on Monday, July 20th at 9am. We request your continued financial support and please mail the pledged donation amount to church as soon as possible. Please keep the expansion project in your prayers.
