Update of Rev. Jobin Jose

  • Achen & Family will be arriving on 8th, Friday at 1:15 PM at Detroit McNamara Terminal through Air France.Executive Committee is making all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth transition for Achen and his family into our parish. We kindly request everyone’s cooperation and support. If anyone reaches out to you for assistance during this time, please do your best to help.We have been working in the parsonage to make it all tidy up for Achens arrival. Yesterday we had the maintenance team and office bearers in the parsonage working on few fixes and maintenance issues and I would like to thank all of them who helped out especially, Maint. Convenor Dr. Soman Philip, Mr. Ajith Varghese, Mr. Gegi George, Mr. Alan John and Mr. Boben George & Mr. Thomas Abraham. Even Chacko Achen showed up to cheer us up. We have scheduled for cleaning the Carpet, Vehicle, and the whole house before the new vicar & family occupies the parsonage. Santosh Achen left the parsonage in very pristine shape but we still want to make sure that the routine maintenance and cleaning takes place before the new family gets in.

For the first couple of weeks, Achen’s schedule will be managed centrally. If you have any requests or needs, please contact the Secretary, Mr. Vinod Thomas, rather than reaching out to Achen directly.

    House Visit Schedule

House visits are planned to begin from May 17th. Prayer Group Leaders will be coordinating and making arrangements for visits to homes within their respective prayer groups.

    • The plan is to schedule approximately one week per prayer group.
    • We hope and pray that most of the house visits can be completed during this period.

Kindly extend your cooperation by accommodating the visit when your prayer group leader contacts you to schedule a time.

Thank you all for your prayers, understanding, and continued support as we welcome Jobin Achen and his family into our parish.

Refreshments

  • Thanks to the Refreshment Committee for the refreshments today. Thanks to all volunteers for making the arrangements
  • Note from the refreshment team:
    • Refreshments will be served for 30 minutes only and the cleanup will start after. Requesting every one to join the fellowship time as soon as we finish the benediction.
    • Requesting everyone to give the one time yearly contribution for the Refreshment. The minimum required contribution is 100 dollars. If you give the amount at the beginning of the year, it will greatly help the team better plan for the year
    • We also request everyone—kids and adults alike—to please dispose of used plates, cups, and glasses in the trash cans provided. Leaving them around the parish hall creates extra work for our volunteers, who already dedicate their time to arrange the refreshments, clean up all the plates, coffee makers and other vessels used in the refreshments and make the space ready for the next event. Let’s all do our part to keep the hall clean and reduce the burden on our volunteers and office bearers. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
