Worship Services

  • Sunday, June 4 – 10:15 AM – Holy Qurbana Service in Malayalam
    • 9 AM – Sunday School
  • We strongly encourage all members to follow COVID prevention measures when coming to the church:
    • Mask use is optional but encouraged
    • If you are Covid positive or have known exposure and experiencing symptoms, you are requested to stay home. You may return to church activities after 5 days of isolating
  • Thank you for your understanding and cooperation

Online Weekly Prayers

  • Intercessory Prayer on Wednesday at 7 PM (via Zoom)
  • Fasting prayer this Friday at 10:30 AM (via Zoom)

Church Cleaning

  • Church Cleaning is scheduled across 2 days. Friday, June 9th at 5:30 pm and Saturday, June 10th at 10 am. All members are requested to come and participate at least 1 of the 2 days to help beautify and clean the landscape and other areas on the church property. For those planning to attend please wear proper attire and bring outdoor working gloves and available outdoor tools and equipment

Youth Group

  • Youth Group Weekend will continue today and tomorrow
    • Sunday, May 28th Boys and Girls Lock-in at 5:30 pm
      • Boys: Jonah & Noah Jacob’s House – 4083 Overlea Ct, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302
      • Girls: Christina Varghese’s House – 46984 Riverwoods Dr, Macomb, MI 48044
    • Monday, May 29th Youth Group Picnic at 10:30 am at Firefighters Park

    All youths are encouraged to attend all YG Weekend events

  • The 44th Diocesan Youth Fellowship Conference will be held on July 20-23, 2023 at the campus of Trinity International University located in the suburbs of Chicago, IL hosted by St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church of Chicago.The DYFC 2023 Convening Committee (St. Thomas MTC Chicago) wholeheartedly welcomes and invites the youths of our parish to the conference. Registration is open now until June 28. Registration cost is $200.

Sunday School

  • Midwest Regional Sunday School Teacher’s Retreat will be held on Saturday June 10th from 10 am to 12 pm via Zoom hosted by Columbus/Minneapolis/Indianapolis. Guest speaker will be Rev. Sam Lukose, Vicar of St. Mark’s MTC Tampa, FL. All Sunday School teachers are encouraged to attend. Zoom details below:
  • VBS 2023 – Please save the date for VBS 2023. VBS will be held from June 19th to the 24th at the church.  Join us as we put on the Armor of God with this year’s theme “Keepers of the Kingdom”.Registration for VBS is available online. Registration fee is $10 per child and maximum of $30 for family. Those who are interested in teaching/volunteering are also requested to sign up online. Live Streaming of Church Events

Live streaming will be available on the church YouTube channel – https://youtube.com/@DetroitMarthomaChurch.  After clicking the link, click on “Live” and find the livestream for the respective church event.

We will do our very best to live stream all church events, however as this is dependent on trained volunteers there may be technical interruptions and occasions where live streaming is not available. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Zeffy – Online Payment Option

  • Zeffy is a user-friendly platform for not-for-profit organizations that allows for one-time and reoccurring monthly contributions with a no transaction fee option. Contributions can be made with credit card, bank account, Apple or Google pay. We strongly encourage all members to utilize Zeffy for electronic payments. Our Trustees want to thank all the members who have utilized this method as this streamlines the financial activities of the parish.
