Farewell Program
- A Farewell program for our former Youth Chaplain Chris Achen & Neethi Kochamma will be held on October 10th, Sunday immediately after the Holy Qurbana.
DMTC Choir
- Piano Players: Our choir is looking for Piano players. Those who are interested and have at least few years of piano education, please contact the choir leaders Mr. Philip Varghese (586-604-6246) or Ms. Rebecca Varghese (248-289-2598).
- Voice Test: Choir voice test will be held on Sunday, October 10th after the worship service to add new members to both English and Malayalam choirs. Church members who are 12 years or older can participate in the audition. Participants will be asked to sing one of the following 2 songs and those who receive a minimum score of 40% will be selected.
- English choir – AG 73 (O What a wonderful, wonderful day), AG 110 (When upon life’s billows)
- Malayalam choir – CH 86 (Sthuthi Sthuthi Ninake), CH 251 (Yeshu En Swantham Halleluah)
Those who wish to participate in the voice test, please inform the Vicar or the choir leaders Mr. Philip Varghese / Ms. Rebecca Varghese no later than October 8th, 2021.
Charity Project – Home for Evangelist
- As a part of Madbaha dedication we decided to celebrate the occasion by providing a house to a needy evangelist in Kerala with an estimated budget of 13,000 dollars (10 lakhs rupees). We request every family to participate generously towards this project and it’s a very genuine need during this pandemic time. Please make a check to DMTC and in the memo please write “home for evangelist”.

Parish Convention & Christian Family Dedication Sunday
- DMTC Parish convention-2021 will be held from October 22nd Friday to October 24th Sunday. Rev. Dr. Mothy Varkey will be the speaker. October 24th Sunday will be observed as the Christian Family Dedication Sunday and Tithe Sunday
Honoring Healthcare Workers
- Executive committee has decided to honor our health care heroes those who cared our community during the Covid-19 crisis on October 24th, Family dedication Sunday after the worship service
Edavaka Mission
- Monthly Prayer Meeting of MTVEA Diocese of North America and Europe will be held on Monday, October 4 at 8.30 pm EST by Zoom. Rev. George Varghese (St. Thomas MTC, Delaware valley) will give the message.

Yuvajana Sakhyam
- Diocesan YS essay competition, Topic ‘യൗവ്വനം അർത്ഥവത്തായ ജീവിതത്തിനുള്ള അന്വേഷണം’ (Youth – search for a meaningful life ) Competition will be in both Malayalam and English . First prize will be a 150 dollar cash prize; Second prize 100 dollar cash prize each in Malayalam and English. Submit your essays to marthomayuvajanasakhyamnae@gmail.com by October 17th at 9pm EST.
- Yuvajana Sakhyam Mid-West region is organizing a study session on October 17th, Yuvajana Sunday at 8pm. Rev. George Abraham (vicar, Austin Mar Thoma Church) will be the leader and the theme is “Ministry of Resilience”.
