Worship Services

  • Next Sunday – January 10th
    • Holy Qurbana Service in English at 10:15 am (Live Streaming)
    • Sunday School – morning session at 9 AM

Due to current Covid situation only 25 members are allowed to attend the worship service and partake in the Holy Qurbana. Those who wish to attend in person, please register online and sign the waiver by Saturday morning:  https://detroitmarthoma.org/main/resources/attendance-registration/

Note:

  • If you have recently participated in the Holy Communion, please give other members a chance to participate also.
  • Only if you get the approval email should you proceed to come for the service

Online Payments through PayPal

  • Please note that if you choose to send in your contribution through PayPal, please choose “Sending to Family & Friends” option. Otherwise there is 3% fee that will be taken out of your contribution by PayPal. The church will not receive the full amount contributed.

Online Weekly Prayers

  • Evening Prayer on Monday and Wednesday at 7 PM by Zoom
  • Fasting prayer this Friday at 10:30 AM via Zoom
  • Combined Prayer Meetings
    • Combined meeting of Prayer Groups 1 & 2 will be held today (January 3) at 6:00 pm via Zoom.
    • Combined meeting of Prayer Groups 3 & 4 will be held on January 10th, Sunday at 6:00 pm via Zoom.

Yuvajana Sakhyam

  • Monthly meeting for the month of January is cancelled.

Diocesan MTVEA Prayer

  • Marthoma Voluntary Evangelist’s Association – Diocese of North America and Europe conducting Monthly Prayer Meeting via Zoom on January 4th, Monday 2021 at 8.30 pm EST. Rev. Santhosh Mathew (Vicar, St. Thomas MTC, Calgary) will give the message.

DMTC Expansion Project

  • UPDATE: Happy to announce that Dome has arrived at site this week. Installers are working on to assemble and install the dome in the coming week. Demolition work is continuing inside the existing sanctuary. Pews have been moved out to the container to enable inside work. Brick work is also continuing and hope to finish it next week. Access to the sanctuary will be limited going forward due to safety reasons. If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact Project convener Mr. Vinod Thomas or Parish office bearers. Please continue to support the project through your prayers and generous financial support.
  • Sponsorship Form: Many of the items from the list have been sponsored. There are still more items that are available for sponsorship. We request individuals/group/Organization to sponsor some of the remaining items. Please see the attached form for details. For any further information, please contact church trustee Mr. George Koshy (248-615-1888).
