Worship Services

  • Next Sunday – November 15th
    • Holy Qurbana Service in Malayalam at 10:15 am (Live Streaming)
    • Sunday School – Common Session at 9 AM (via Zoom)

As per the decision of the Executive committee:

      • Total of 25 members are allowed to attend the worship service
      • Total of 8 members will be allowed to participate in the Holy Qurbana.  Each individual that is interested to participate needs to register individually and sign the waiver using the following link:

        • You will receive an initial email confirming your request and then another email once the request has been approved.

        • Note: If you have recently participated in the Holy Communion, please give other members a chance to participate also.

If anyone is interested to come and participate in the service at the church, especially those who are celebrating birthday or wedding anniversary please inform the Vicar or Secretary.

Online Payments through PayPal

  • Please note that if you choose to send in your contribution through PayPal, please choose “Sending to Family & Friends” option. Otherwise there is 3% fee that will be taken out of your contribution by PayPal. The church will not receive the full amount contributed.

Online Weekly Prayers

  • Prayer Meetings on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7 PM by Zoom
  • Fasting prayer on Friday at 10:30 AM by Zoom

Suvishesha Nidhi Sunday

  • Today is  SUVISHESHA NIDHI SUNDAY, Please donate generously for the mission activities of the Diocese.

Yuvajana Sakhyam

  • Monthly meeting will be held on Saturday, November 14th at 6.00 pm via Zoom.

Sunday School

  • World Sunday school day offertory will be collected and the funds will be completely utilized by the Diocese for the ‘Kids for Kids’ project. Please mail the checks to our church address with “World SS Day” in the memo by Nov 22nd.
  • Christmas Carol: All students (pre-school thru 12th grade) who are interested in participating for this year’s virtual Christmas Carol service program please provide your names to your teachers or to Sincie Chacko or Elsa Varghese by today or latest by next Sunday

Sevika Sanghom

  • Sevika Sanghom is planning to give education aid to the children of Evangelists working in the Mission fields. Requesting your kind hearted support and please make check to Detroit Marthoma Church and in the memo write Sevika Sanghom Project.

Diocesan Leadership Conference

  • The 24th session of the Diocesan Leadership Conference will be hosted by the Diocesan Youth Fellowship and will take place virtually (via Zoom) from Friday, January 8th to Saturday, January 9th, 2021. Our Diocesan Bishop, along with the Youth Chaplains, Clergy, and lay leaders will serve as the main leaders for this conference.

The theme for the conference is: “Restored to Restore” based on Jeremiah 15:19a.

The Diocesan Youth Fellowship Council cordially invites youths (ages 21-35), who are actively involved in their home parish and community, to register and attend the conference. Registration will begin on Sunday, November 1, 2020 and will be open until Monday, November 30, 2020. For more details, please visit the conference website at https://www.teammartho.com/dlc2021

Diocesan Directory – 2020

  • Diocesan Directory-2020 is ready for distribution. Those who ordered the Diocesan Directory-2020, please contact Mr. C. V. Samuel (586-216-0602) for your copy.

DMTC Project Update

  • Integrity builders have finished windows installation, rough building carpentry and plumbing works. Dome will be installed in the next week and brick work is also scheduled. City of Southfield has inspected and approved the rough carpentry and plumbing works. You can view the construction progress by visiting the church website. If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact Project convener Mr. Vinod Thomas or Parish office bearers. Those who have not paid your pledge amount yet, please mail the check to church address as early as possible. Please continue to support the project through your prayers and generous financial support.
