It is with deep sorrow that we inform you the sad demise of our member Mr. O. C. Koshy (91) early this morning. Detroit Mar Thoma Church expresses our deepest condolence and let us offer our prayers; that God may strengthen the grieving family with heavenly peace & solace. Funeral arrangements will be informed later.

Sevika Sanghom
- Sevika Sanghom monthly meeting will be held on September 7th, Saturday at 3 pm at the church.
There will be a song practice today after the service for Sevika sangham Sunday, all Sevika sangham members are requested to attend this practice. Please collect the envelope for Sevika sangham Sunday offertory.
Auction
- Auction of First fruits and other items will be held on September 8th, Sunday after the worship service. All parish members are requested to bring items for the auction
St. John’s Mar Thoma Congregation’s convention
- St. John’s Mar Thoma Congregation’s convention will be held on September 14th and 15th at 6pm -8pm at 2601 E Square Lake Road, Troy. Mr. Abraham Joseph will be the convention speaker.
Church expansion project update
- We have finalized and signed the agreement with architect and builder Integrity Builders for the step 2 of phase 1, which is structural design and construction approval. Once we finish this phase we will have all the necessary blue prints and approvals for starting the construction. Committee would like to thank everyone for the prayers and continued support for this project.
