Condolences
Detroit Mar Thoma church expresses our deepest condolence at the sad demise of Mr. P.M. Pothen (75 years old, Biju Nivas, Elembal, Punalur) younger brother of Mr. P.M. George on March 21st in Kerala. Funeral service was held at Salem Mar Thoma Church, Elembal, Punalur.
May the Almighty Lord strengthen and comfort the family with peace that passeth all human understanding.

Senior Fellowship
- Senior Fellowship monthly meeting will be held on Saturday, March 30th at 3.00 pm at the Church.
Youth Group
- Youth Group Get together will be held on March 30th, Saturday at 12 pm at the residence of Sincie Chacko.
- ALABAMA NATIVE AMERICAN MISSION TRIP 2019 – The Alabama Native American Missions Trip will be held from June 15th to June 21st in Mt. Vernon, Alabama. Anyone who is 18 years and older may attend and if you are interested, more information can be found in the Youth Group Email. Registration Deadline is May 12th.
- DIOCESAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP CONFERENCE 2019 – The Diocesan Youth Fellowship Conference 2019 will be held from July 25th to July 28th, 2019, hosted by the Youth Fellowship of the Mar Thoma Church of Dallas – Farmers Branch in Dallas. The theme is “Bloom Where You Are Planted” based on 1 Corinthians 3:6-9. Anyone who is 18 years and older may attend and if you are interested, more information can be found in the Youth Group Email. Registration Deadline is May 26th.
World Day of Prayer – 2019
- World day of prayer – 2019 will be celebrated on Sunday, March 31st at 9:30 am at the church. Theme is “come -everything is ready” based on Luke 14:15-23 prepared by women of Slovenia. Offertory will be collected to support the world day of prayer. Please collect Offertory envelops from Sevika sangham area representatives or office bearers. Please make check to Detroit Marthoma Church and in the memo please write Sevika sangham, world day of prayer.
