I have tried to reach out to those people to verify if the emails are indeed getting bounced. Related Articles of Incorporation
- I would like to share an update on one of the items that was discussed and approved at our 2025 General Body meeting.
As decided, we have proceeded with updating the Articles of Incorporation with the State of Michigan. I am happy to inform you that this process has now been successfully completed. The Restated Articles of Incorporation have been filed with both the State of Michigan and the IRS.
I would like to sincerely thank the 2025 Office Bearers, Executive Committee, and the General Body for their guidance and support in helping the parish move forward with this important decision.
I would also like to extend a special note of gratitude to our diocesan attorney, Lal Varghese, Esq., for assisting the parish with drafting the Articles and completing the filings with the State of Michigan and the IRS, all free of charge. We are deeply grateful for his time, expertise, and generosity
Trustees Update
- Mar Thoma Theological Seminary Centenary Celebration- Fund raising : If you would like to donate towards the construction project, please send your checks to Trustee with memo as Theological Seminary fund collection
- Another note from the Trustees, the Church doors (front and back) are unlocked during Sunday school, and worship service. Please do not prop the doors open, please keep them closed, this will enhance security for our church, as well as minimize maintenance concerns as we approach the colder weathers.
Refreshments
- Thanks to refreshment committee for all the arrangements for today’s refreshments
- We also have a special and joyful announcement to share with our parish family. Our dear Vicar, Santosh Achan, and Donna Kochamma are celebrating their 14th Wedding Anniversary. We are grateful to God for their years of togetherness and service. To mark this blessed occasion, we have arranged a cake and a small celebration. We warmly invite everyone to join Achan and Kochamma in the Parish Hall immediately after the Benediction for the celebration. I would also like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Alan John for arranging the beautiful cake for this occasion. We look forward to celebrating together as a parish family
- Note from the refreshment team:
- Refreshments will be served for 30 minutes only and the cleanup will start after. Requesting every one to join the fellowship time as soon as we finish the benediction.
- They are also requesting those who haven’t contributed to the annual refreshment fund to do so soon. The minimum expected is 100 dollars.
- We also request everyone—kids and adults alike—to please dispose of used plates, cups, and glasses in the trash cans provided. Leaving them around the parish hall creates extra work for our volunteers, who already dedicate their time to arrange the refreshments, clean up all the plates, coffee makers and other vessels used in the refreshments and make the space ready for the next event. Let’s all do our part to keep the hall clean and reduce the burden on our volunteers and office bearers. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
