Colossians 3:12-17
God provides so much for all of us. Sometimes we don’t get what we want immediately, because God wants us to wait, and we must understand that God has everything timed out before we were even born. Regardless of our circumstances, let us always thank the Lord for His blessings—both those we have already received and those yet to come.
“Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.” 1 Thess. 5:12-13
As we reflect on this passage, we are reminded that in addition to thanking the Lord Almighty, we should also express gratitude to our brothers and sisters in Christ, who have helped us in various ways. Let us not forget to be thankful for the people around us.
CLOSING PRAYER
Gracious Father, thank You so much for all You have provided. Thank You for meeting my needs, fulfilling my desires, and even blessing me with things I may not be aware of. Thank You for watching over my every step. I pray You will continue to show me how to love and support others as You have loved and supported me.
In Your most holy and precious name, Amen.
