Yuvajana Sakhyam
- Midwest Regional Yuvajana Sakhyam Inaugural Activity Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at 8 PM EST via Zoom. The main speaker for the Inaugural Meeting is Rev. Philip Mathew (General Secretary of the Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam). The theme for the meeting is “Fullness of Life in Christ.” Requesting all Midwest Regional YJS members to prayerfully participate in this meeting. Youth Group
- Youth Group Weekend will be held from May 26th – 29th. This year’s theme is Unplug and Recharge based on Matthew 11:28 “come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

- The Chicago Mar Thoma Church Youth Group will be hosting the 5th Annual Midwest Sports Tournament starting on Friday, June 9th and concluding on Saturday, June 10th. Tournament will take place at the Centre of Elgin located at 100 Symphony Way, Elgin, IL 60120. Woman’s Volleyball Tournament will start on Friday and end on Saturday and Men’s Basketball Tournament will start and end on Saturday.Sports Tournament Team Details:1) Men’s Basketball $200/team

- The 44th Diocesan Youth Fellowship Conference will be held on July 20-23, 2023 at the campus of Trinity International University located in the suburbs of Chicago, IL hosted by St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church of Chicago.The DYFC 2023 Convening Committee (St. Thomas MTC Chicago) wholeheartedly welcomes and invites the youths of our parish to the conference. Senior Fellowship
- Monthly Meeting of the Senior Fellowship will be held on Saturday May 27th at 3:00 pm at the church. All senior members are requested to attend
Sunday School
- SS Diocesan exam will be conducted today, Sunday, May 21st from 12:00-1:30 in the fellowship hall. Requesting all members to not disturb our Sunday School children as they take the exam.
- Midwest Regional Sunday School Teacher’s Retreat will be held on Saturday June 10th from 10 am to 12 pm via Zoom hosted by Columbus/Minneapolis/Indianapolis. Guest speaker will be Rev. Sam Lukose, Vicar of St. Mark’s MTC Tampa, FL. All Sunday School teachers are encouraged to attend. - VBS 2023 – Please save the date for VBS 2023VBS will be held from June 19th to the 24th at the church. Join us as we put on the Armor of God with this year’s theme “Keepers of the Kingdom”. Registration will continue today after service in the hall and is also available online. Registration fee is $10 per child and maximum of $30 for family.
