Vicar’s Transfer
- As sent in email announcement, Jose Achen & Shyny Kochamma safely arrived in Kerala couple of days ago. Achen & Kochamma thanks all parish members for their prayers and well wishes.
- As announced last week Rev. Santhosh Varghese & family have their interview for visa scheduled on Monday and Tuesday, May 1st and 2nd, in Delhi.Please keep our Achens and their families in your prayers as they prepare for their respective transfers.
Sunday School
- Sunday school teachers meeting will be held today April 23rd at 5:00 pm via Zoom. All teachers are requested to attend
- Sunday School Talent Festival will be held today, April 23rd, after refreshments. All participants and church members are encouraged to reconvene back in the sanctuary in 15 min.
Youth Group
- Midwest Regional Leadership Retreat will be hosted by St. John’s Mar Thoma Church this Friday, April 28th from 7-10PM EST via Zoom. The retreat’s theme is “Cultivating Christian Maturity” and will be led by Mrs. Shijy Alex of Chicago MTC. All youth leaders/ ministry team leaders / ministry team members are encouraged to participate in this one-day retreat. Registration will close today.
- The 44th Diocesan Youth Fellowship Conference will be held on July 20-23, 2023 at the campus of Trinity International University located in the suburbs of Chicago, IL hosted by St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church of Chicago. The conference is a time for youths around the Diocese to gather for a time of spiritual development and introspection. This year’s conference theme is “The Amazing Race” based on Hebrews 12:1-12.The DYFC 2023 Convening Committee (St. Thomas MTC Chicago) wholeheartedly welcomes and invites the youths of our parish to the conference. Sevika Sanghom
- Monthly Meeting of the Sevika Sangham will be held on Saturday, May 6th at 12 pm at the church. There will be a special lunch event to celebrate Mother’s Day during the meeting. Kindly request participation from all Sevika Sangham members and please inform sevika sangham committee members if you are attending. Cost of the event will be shared by all attendees equally.
- Sevika Sangham is requesting support for charity activities this year. Currently Sevika Sangham has decided to support a young cancer patient in Kerala. Details of the charity request is posted in the notice board. Requesting all Sevika Sangham members to support wholeheartedly, the suggested contribution is $100 however all contributions will be accepted. Please contribute through Zeffy or by check to DMTC and in the memo write Sevika Sanghom.

- All those in possession of a church key are requested to see the trustees as soon as possible to complete the key exchange form. This includes representatives who are carrying over responsibility from 2022 in to 2023
