Condolence
- Detroit Mar Thoma church expresses our deepest condolence at the sad demise of Rev. Aby Thampi Ninan, 34 years old, on Dec 18th in Kerala. Achen’s wife Limisha Kochamma is the cousin of our member Mrs. Soney Santhosh. The funeral service was held on Dec 20th at Mathra Immanuel Mar Thoma Church.
- Detroit Mar Thoma church expresses our deepest condolence at the sad demise of Mr. V. K. Cherian, 72 years old (Vadakkeparambil Chalil, Mamala, Eranakulam), our member Mrs. Saramma Varghese’s sister’s husband, on Dec 28th in Kerala. The funeral service will held on Dec 31st at Mamala Jerusalem Mar Thoma Church.
May the Almighty Lord strengthen and comfort these families with peace that passeth all human understanding.

Ecumenical Christmas Celebration
- Detroit Ecumenical Council of Kerala Churches (DECKC)-Ecumenical Christmas Celebration will be held on December 30th, Sunday at 5pm at the St. Thomas Orthodox Church in Warren (2850 Parent Ave, Warren, MI 48092). Our Sunday school is taking part in the Ecumenical Christmas celebration and all Sunday school children are requested to be present. All Parish members are requested to prayerfully participate in the Ecumenical Christmas celebration.
