Condolence
- Detroit Mar Thoma church express our deepest condolence at the sad demise of Mr. T. K Mathen (85 years old) grandfather of Mr. Lee George Thomas on November 22nd in Palakkad. Funeral service was held today at Holy Trinity CSI church in Mundakkayam, Kerala. May the Almighty Lord strengthen and comfort the family with peace that passeth all human understanding.

General Body Notice
- The General body meeting of the Detroit Mar Thoma church will be held on Sunday, November 25th, 2018 in the church sanctuary after the Holy Communion Service presided by the President and Vicar, Rev. Jogy Oommen Philip. All General Body members are requested to attend this meeting.
The agenda is follows:
- Election of the office bearers, Prayer groups & Church organization representatives, Auditors and Refreshment Committee for the year 2019.
- Presentation of the multipurpose building and parking lot site plan for approval.
- Proposal for a new Mar Thoma congregation.
- Proposal to give permission to the current executive committee to decide the venue and date for Picnic and Retreat for the following years.
- AOB with prior written permission.

Youth Group
- Small Groups Weekend meetings will be held from November 30th, Friday to December 2nd, Sunday. Small group leaders will contact you about future meeting dates.
Regional Youth Conference 2018
- Midwest Regional Youth Conference-2018 hosted by the St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church’s Youth Group will be held from December 27th, Thursday to December 30th, Sunday at the Michindoh Conference Center. The main speaker is Dr. Shaun Rajan and the theme for the conference is “IDENTITY” based on 2Corinthians 5:17. The registration cost is $140 and additional $10 for T-shirts. The early registration deadline is November 30th, Friday. We encourage all youths ages 13 and older to attend Regional Conference for a time of growing in your faith and enjoying fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ. Sunday School
- There will be a SS Teacher’s Meeting on Dec 2nd, Sunday after the worship service. Office bearers for the year 2019 will be elected at this meeting.
- SS will NOT have Christmas Carol Service practice today after service due to the General Body meeting. There will be practice after service again starting next week. Children are requested to be present for the practices.
Ecumenical Choir
- Those who are interested in joining the Ecumenical Choir, please give the names to our church Ecumenical representative and the first practice will be held on November 30th Friday at 7:30 pm at CSI Congregation of Great Lakes. If there is any questions please contact the Ecumenical Choir Coordinator, Mrs. Shanthi Thomas.
