- Detroit Mar Thoma church express our deepest condolence at the demise of Mrs. Mariamma George (83 years old, Thopprathu Vadakeil, Maramon) mother of Mr. Abraham George(Aby) on August 31st in Kerala. Funeral service will be held on September 4th, Tuesday at Maramon Marthoma Church. May the Almighty Lord strengthen the family with His peace that passeth all human understanding.

Sunday School
- The student’s Vijayadhinam Sthothram and Teacher’s dedication will be held next Sunday September 9th for those who were not able to make it today. Students please make sure to pick up an envelope for the offertory.
- Sunday School teacher’s meeting will be held today immediately after the service in the balcony. All the teachers are requested to attend.
Sevika Sanghom
- Sevika Sangham retreat will be held on Saturday, September 8th from 10 am-3 pm at the church. The theme is “Women-Partners in God’s liberation” and Rev. Christy David Daniel and Mrs. Stephy Mariam Zachariah will be the leaders. There will be a separate session for the 40 below members in English. All Sevika Sanghom members are requested to attend and kindly register your names today.
Yuvajana Sakhyam
- Parish level Kalamela will be conducted at our church on Saturday, September 8th immediately after the monthly Yuvajana Sakhyam meeting at 5 pm hosted by Mr. Steve and Lynn Varghese. Details are posted on the notice board. Please reach out to:

Senior Fellowship
- There will be a Seniors Retreat on Saturday, September 15th from 10.30 am to 3.00 pm at the Church. Rev. Fr. Binu Joseph, Vicar of St. Mary’s Jacobite Church will be the guest speaker. All Seniors are requested to attend and Lunch will be provided.
Family Retreat
- Save the Weekend of September 28-30, 2018 for our upcoming Family Retreat to be held at the Howell Nature Center. Rev. Baiju Markose will be the leader. Please contact Vinod Thomas, Jaya Varghese or Sabina Cherian for more information
