Weekly Prayers

  • Intercessory Prayer on Wednesday at 6:30 PM at Church.

Prayer Fellowship

  • Prayer Group 3: Sunday, June 17th at 5:30 PM at the residence of Mr. Philip Varghese (Gigi) & Mini Varghese in Troy.
  • Prayer Group 6: Sunday, June 24th at 5:30 PM at the residence of Mr. Sam and Susan Abraham in Sterling Hts.

Sunday School

  • Midwest Regional Sunday School Junior Camp this year hosted by St. Thomas Marthoma Church, Chicago on July 20th to 22nd. Children of 3rd to 10th grade, who are interested in going for the Regional Sunday School Junior Camp, please give your names to your teachers or the Sunday School Superintendent Mrs. Sarasu David as early as possible. 11th & 12th graders can also attend as volunteers. Jr Camp Flyer

  • The memory verse recital portions are posted on the notice board. The last date for completing this is July 15th.
  • Vacation Bible School: VBS-2018 is scheduled from June 18th-24th, 2018. Monday thru Friday 6:30 pm-9:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. A sign-up sheet is available in the fellowship hall for anyone interested in teaching VBS and for volunteers in general. All youths 12th grade and up & also parents are eligible to teach. Any questions please contact Mrs. Suja George, Mrs. Sabina Cherian or Mrs. Sarasu David.
    There will be a separate prayer & Bible Study lead by Jogy Achen for adults during VBS. A separate sign-up sheet for this is available at the VBS registration table.

Senior Fellowship

  • Next Senior Fellowship meeting will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 3.00 PM at the Church

Youth Group

  • The Diocesan Youth Conference (DYC) 2018, hosted by Chicago Mar Thoma Church, is from July 26th-29th at Trinity International University (Deerfield, IL). The theme is “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” which focuses on Ephesians 1:13-14. You must be 18 years or older to attend the youth conference. Early registration cost is $185 and early Registration deadline for Diocesan Youth Conference is Friday, June 15th. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Miss. Light to Life

  • Light to Life project sponsors are requested to collect the sponsorship details and a special gift from Mr. Vinod Thomas after the worship service..

Mar Thoma Fest – 2018

Mar Thoma fest -2018 will be held on Saturday, August 18th. If you are interested to participate in Cultural programs and sports, Please give your names to the coordinators on or before June 24th.

Dance & Cultural Programs

  • Children below 6 years, please contact Mrs. Siby John or Mrs. Lynn Varghese
  • Dance for Children from First grade and above, please give names to Mr. Benjamin Abraham
  • Dance for Adults, Please give names to Mrs. Bahitha Uthup
  • For Skit participation, please contact Mrs. Suja George.

Sports: (13 years and above) Volleyball, Basketball, Shuttle badminton, Table tennis. Please give your names to Mr. Benjamin Abraham or Mr. Soni Philip Chacko.

Mar Thoma Choir Festival

  • Silver Jubilee Mar Thoma Choir Festival Toronto will be held on August 4th, 2018 at 5 pm at the Canadian Mar Thoma Church, Toronto. Choirs from Chicago, Canada, Detroit and Indianapolis Marthoma churches participating in this year’s choir festival. The theme for this year’s choir festival is “Sing to the Lord” based on psalms 96:1. All are invited to attend this year’s choir festival.

  • Our newly designed church website has been launched to enable our members to stay better connected with the church activities and events. The website will be updated daily and weekly to keep it current and up-to-date. Suggestions are welcome to improve the usability and functionality of our website. Our thanks to the Media Committee for all their efforts on this initiative.
