This is a mandatory collection by Sabha and this is\u00a0 collected during the passion week. We will be collecting the Ressisa during the Good Friday<\/li>\n<li><strong>CIRCULAR # 179 \u2013 Good Friday Offertory<\/strong> is set apart for the operational support of various Old Age homes under sabha\u2019s care. This offertory will be collected during the Good Friday Services on April 3<sup>rd<\/sup>. Each old age home is\u00a0 paired with Mar Thoma parishes around the worldOur parish\u2019s collection will support the Shanthi Mandiram of HosekotteWe will be collecting the Uposhana Varam collections also on the Good Friday. This is also the time for you to check your contribution dues to the parish especially the diocisian contributions. If you havent paid those dues, please remit it during the Good Friday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Choir Audition<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>We are excited to welcome new members to both the English and Malayalam choirs. A <strong>choir voice audition<\/strong> will be held on Sunday, March 29, beginning at 1:00 PM, after the worship service and refreshments. All parish members aged 12 years and above are welcome to participate. Santhosh Varughese &amp; family\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Santosh Achan\u2019s farewell wil<\/strong>ll be held on <strong>Sunday, April 19th<\/strong>, immediately <strong>after the worship service<\/strong>.We hope and pray that our entire church family will join us on this special day to give Achan a heartfelt and blessed farewell, in gratitude for the wonderful service he and his family have offered to our parish. Please keep achan and family in your prayers as they prepare to move back to India and the new ministry. Achen will be travelling back to India on Wed, April 22<sup>nd<\/sup>. His flight is at 6:15 PM from Detroit, flying by KLM via Amsterdam. Jobin Jose<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Office-bearers are working on making the travel arrangements for the Incoming vicar. Things are little in flux due to the ongoing war in the middle east. We are trying the best way to bring him and family during the first week of May. He was born on 03\/27\/2026 at 11:39 PM. Both Baby and mom is doing well. You can also check our church website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.detroitmarthoma.org\">www.detroitmarthoma.org<\/a> to see the weekly announcements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Refreshments<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Our thanks to the refreshment team for arranging todays refreshments<\/li>\n<li>Note from the refreshment team:\n<ul>\n<li>Refreshments will be served for 30 minutes only and the cleanup will start after. Requesting every one to join the fellowship time as soon as we finish the benediction.<\/li>\n<li>Requesting everyone to give the one time yearly contribution for the Refreshment. The minimum required contribution is 100 dollars. If you give the amount at the beginning of the year, it will greatly help the team better plan for the year<\/li>\n<li>We also request everyone\u2014kids and adults alike\u2014to please <strong>dispose of used plates, cups, and glasses in the trash cans provided<\/strong>. Leaving them around the parish hall creates extra work for our volunteers, who already dedicate their time to arrange the refreshments, clean up all the plates, coffee makers and other vessels used in the refreshments and make the space ready for the next event.\u00a0Let\u2019s all do our part to keep the hall clean and reduce the burden on our volunteers and office bearers.
