The conference&#8217;s theme is &#8220;Chosen Through The Storm (Isaiah 43:2)&#8221;.\u00a0\u00a0We encourage all youths within the region to participate in this conference. Many photos in the directory are outdated and we invite and encourage all families to provide a more recent photo to be included in the directory. We are starting the first communion classes for kids who are planning to take the communion. Please do not prop the doors open, please keep them closed, this will enhance security for our church, as well as minimize maintenance concerns as we approach the colder weathers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Christmas Carol Rounding &#8211; 2025<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>The joyful Christmas season is fast approaching, and our parish is preparing for the celebrations. As part of our tradition, we will be organizing Christmas Carol Rounding once again this year.\n<p>Carolers will begin visiting homes starting <strong>December 5<\/strong>. If you prefer <strong>not to host<\/strong> the carollers at your home, kindly inform your <strong>Prayer Group leader<\/strong> or send an email to our parish secretary at <strong>sec@detroitmarthoma.org<\/strong>. This will greatly assist us in planning the visits efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>As you know, organizing the carol rounding requires significant effort and coordination. We sincerely request your cooperation to help make this event smooth and joyful for everyone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Refreshments<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Note from the refreshment team:\n<ul>\n<li>Refreshments will be served for 30 minutes only and the cleanup will start after. Requesting every one to join the fellowship time as soon as we finish the benediction.<\/li>\n<li>They are also requesting those who haven&#8217;t contributed to the annual refreshment fund to do so soon. The minimum expected is 100 dollars.<\/li>\n<li>We also request everyone\u2014kids and adults alike\u2014to please <strong>dispose of used plates, cups, and glasses in the trash cans provided<\/strong>. Leaving them around the parish hall creates extra work for our volunteers, who already dedicate their time to arrange the refreshments, clean up all the plates, coffee makers and other vessels used in the refreshments and make the space ready for the next event.\u00a0Let\u2019s all do our part to keep the hall clean and reduce the burden on our volunteers and office bearers.
