Paul\u00a0 reminds Timothy of how God has saved us while we were still\u00a0 sinners because of His power and His grace &#8211; and not by any\u00a0 action by us. Therefore, we should testify unashamed, in love,\u00a0 of His love for us that passes all understanding. Especially\u00a0 when it comes to suffering for the Gospel, we have much to\u00a0 learn from Paul who was imprisoned and beaten for his faith\u00a0 and yet remained unwavering in it. This Lenten season let us\u00a0 learn from Paul\u2019s confidence despite his struggles in life that\u00a0 God is good in every situation and use that to spread His love\u00a0 to those around us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>CLOSING PRAYER\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dear Jesus, we thank you for who you are and all that you\u00a0 have done for us. We have sinned much more than what we\u00a0 can acknowledge, yet your love for us is far beyond all what we\u00a0 can imagine. Teach us to be steadfast in our faith through the\u00a0 suffering that we might come across in this lifetime knowing\u00a0 that it is only a fraction of all that you have suffered for our\u00a0 sins. Help us to not be ashamed to testify about your love but\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">live a holy life with you &#8211; one that is full of love, power and self <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">discipline. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, Our\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lord.
