Apostle Paul writes in\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Romans 5:3-4, \u201cNot only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings,\u00a0 knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance\u00a0 produces character, and character produces hope.\u201d This\u00a0 passage reminds us that challenges are not just obstacles;\u00a0 they are experiences that transforms and shapes our faith. When we face trials, it is easy to succumb into despair. Yet, in\u00a0 those moments of pain lies the potential for deeper faith.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Suffering can strip away our illusions of control and self <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sufficiency, leading us to rely solely on God\u2019s grace. It is in our\u00a0 vulnerability that we experience the profound joy of divine\u00a0 presence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reflecting upon the story of Job, who, despite his immense\u00a0 suffering, declared, &#8220;Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him&#8221;\u00a0 (Job 13:15). Job&#8217;s unwavering faith amidst despair offers a\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">powerful testimony that joy can coexist with suffering. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This Lent, let us embrace our struggles as opportunities for\u00a0 growth in faith. The blocks that we experience in life, help us to\u00a0 use them as building blocks stepping us up and bringing us\u00a0 closer to God\u2019s love and his presence. May we learn to\u00a0 cultivate joy not by ignoring our pain but by allowing it to\u00a0 deepen our relationship with God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>CLOSING PRAYER\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise that our suffering is\u00a0 not in vain. Help us to find strength and joy in our trials and to\u00a0 trust that You are working in us through every challenge. May\u00a0 our endurance strengthen our character and our hope grow as\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">we lean into Your grace. Guide us to embrace our struggles as\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pathways to deeper faith. In Jesus\u2019 name, we pray.
