Our relationship with\u00a0 Christ has many different aspects: Our creator and Maker,\u00a0 Lord and Master, Judge Redeemer, Father and savior and\u00a0 much more. In Eden we see God&#8217;s ideal relationship with\u00a0 Adam and Eve. They enjoyed an intimate friendship with\u00a0 God. But after the Fall, that ideal relationship was broken.\u00a0 Its difficult to imagine how an intimate friendship is\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">possible between an omnipotent, invisible, perfect God\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and a sinful human.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We can become an intimate friend of God through\u00a0 constant conversation, through continual meditation,\u00a0 through repentance. &#8216;Pray without ceasing&#8217; means\u00a0 conversing with God while we are working, driving, or on\u00a0 performing everyday tasks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During this lent season, separate some time with God.\u00a0 Take off our worries and switch our attention from our\u00a0 problems to God. Through prayer we can talk with God\u00a0 and through meditation we can hear from God. Both\u00a0 prayer and meditation are essential to becoming a friend\u00a0 of God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>CLOSING PRAYER\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gracious Lord our Heavenly father, we come to your\u00a0 presence for your blessings. Father, we need to become\u00a0 intimate to you. Help us to look backward and think about\u00a0 our drawbacks, and Father help us to repent ourselves, so\u00a0 that we can come more closer to you Lord and can lead a\u00a0 newline in you.
