Thomas Mathew, president of the Midwest Region SS. on Saturday, April 20th at 10 am via Zoom. Rev. Abraham Kuruvilla will be the main speaker. All SS teachers are encouraged to attend<\/li>\n<li><strong>Our VBS 2024<\/strong> will be held from June 17-23. Theme for the VBS is \u201cThe Great Jungle Journey\u201d. Please mark your calendars and further details will be provided soon. If you are interested in volunteering, please see the sign-up list in the fellowship hall or contact the conveners Mrs. Sabina Cherian, Mrs. Usha Thomas, or Dr. Suma Thomas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Midwest Regional Junior Camp 2024<\/strong> will be held from July 19<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; 21<sup>st<\/sup> hosted by the Chicago Mar Thoma Church Sunday School and is open to students who have completed 3<sup>rd<\/sup> to 10<sup>th<\/sup> grade. Encourage all students to attend. Please reserve the date and keep the camp in your prayers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">India Mission Trip<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>A reminder The Mar Thoma Mission Board of the Diocese of NA is organizing the India Mission Trip to various mission fields in South India from June 24, 2024 to July 04, 2024. The mission trip will include visits to mission fields of the Mar Thoma Church in Ankola, Carver through Goa, Sirsi (near North Karnataka), and South Travancore (Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala).\n<p>This will be a good opportunity for youths to gain a better understanding of the mission work of the Church and to learn how to be involved in such mission initiatives. Registration deadline for the mission trip is tomorrow, April 15<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Youths who are interested in participating are requested to give your names to Diocesan Council Member Mrs. Thankam Vinu George (Convener) at +1 781-866-1673 (<a href=\"mailto:georgevinu2000@gmail.com\">georgevinu2000@gmail.com<\/a>) or to India Mission Sub Committee members Mrs. Valsamma Mathew at +1 215-519-0127(<a href=\"mailto:valsa008@gmail.com\">valsa008@gmail.com<\/a>) or Dr. Varghese Manaloor (Canada) at +1 780-781-9984 (<a href=\"mailto:ushavar@hotmail.com\">ushavar@hotmail.com<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Total number of participants are 15, on a first come basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Edavaka Mission &amp; Sevika Sanghom<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monthly meeting<\/strong> of the Edavaka Mission and Sevika Sanghom will be held on April 20<sup>th<\/sup> at 11 am at the church. This will be a combined meeting of the two sub-organization. All members are encouraged to join.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Youth Group<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Youth Group bible study<\/strong> on Saturday, April 20th at 1:30 pm at the church. Bible study topic will be Altar and Liturgy led by Santosh Achen and Bijo Cheriyan. All youths are encouraged to attend.<\/li>\n<li>There will be <strong>Youth Group activity<\/strong> on Saturday, April 27rd, more details to be provided soon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Church Cleaning<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Church Spring Cleaning<\/strong> is scheduled across 2 days. <strong>Friday, April 26<sup>th<\/sup> <\/strong>and<strong> Saturday, April 27<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>. All members are requested to come and participate at least 1 of the 2 days to help beautify and clean the landscape and other areas on the church property. For those planning to attend please wear proper attire and bring outdoor working gloves and available outdoor tools and equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Table Tennis &#8211; Spring Tournament<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A Table Tennis tournament<\/strong> is scheduled <strong>on Sundays May 19<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; June 9<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>. All members are welcome to participate and required to register online. All families are requested to contribute this amount and also encouraged to give more considering the increased cost of items.
