Santhosh Varughese.The agenda is as follows:\n<ol>\n<li>Presentation and Adoption of the Annual Report for 2023<\/li>\n<li>Presentation and Adoption of the ratified over-budgeted and non-budgeted items for 2023<\/li>\n<li>Presentation and Adoption of the Audited Accounts for 2023<\/li>\n<li>Presentation and Adoption of the Budget for 2024<\/li>\n<li>AOB with prior permission from the Chair<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>All General Body members are requested to attend this meeting. Annual Report Books will be sent via e-mail to parish members this week. Limited copies of annual report books will be available next Sunday, March 10<sup>th<\/sup>, especially for our senior members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> Questions or clarifications pertaining to the Annual Report, the Statement of Accounts for 2023 and the 2024 Budget should be sent via email or post in the attention of the Vicar\/President and\/or the Secretary and received on or before 4 pm (EST) on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Each member is allowed to submit a maximum of 3 questions. Parish members should be present in the General Body meeting to raise the submitted questions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">FIRST COMMUNICANTS\u2019 DEDICATION SERVICE\/ PARISH DAY \/WELCOME MEETING FOR RT. REV. DR. ABRAHAM MAR PAULOS<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Our Diocesan Episcopa Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos will be visiting our parish for the first time on Sunday, March 24<sup>th<\/sup>.\n<ul>\n<li>There will be a Sunday School common session with Thirumeni at 9 am, encouraging all Sunday School children to attend this special session with Thirumeni.<\/li>\n<li>Palm Sunday and Holy Communion Service in English will start at 9:30 am. First Communicants Dedication Service will be conducted during the Holy Communion Service. We have 13 first communicants this year, let\u2019s keep them all in our prayers as they prepare for this special day.<\/li>\n<li>Our Parish day celebrations will be held after the worship service. Our Diocesan Episcopa will be the chief guest. As this Thirumeni\u2019s first visit to our parish there will be a welcome meeting for Thirumeni along with Parish Day celebrations. We encourage all members to attend the Parish Day activities and welcome meeting. Lunch will be arranged after the meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Great Lent &#8220;Sandhya Namaskaram&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Great Lent \u201cSandhya Namaskaram\u201d evening prayers<\/strong> will continue this on weekdays, Monday through Friday, starting at 7 pm. We are blessed and thankful with the level of participation in this past week and we request everyone\u2019s continued prayers and presence. Please note there will be no Fasting Prayer during the lent season.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">40th Friday<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>40<sup>th<\/sup> Friday will be observed on Friday, March 22<sup>nd<\/sup>. Holy Qurbana in Malayalam at 10 am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Passion Week Events<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Passion Week will be observed starting Sunday March 24<sup>th<\/sup>. All Passion Week events will occur at the church.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Palm Sunday: <\/strong>March 24<sup>th<\/sup>, Holy Qurbana in English at 9:30 am. Service will be celebrated by Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos. All YS members are requested to attend.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The 22<sup>nd<\/sup> Diocesan Yuvajana Sakhyam National Conference<\/strong> will be held from Thursday, September 26<sup>th<\/sup> to Sunday, September 29<sup>th<\/sup> hosted by and held at the Mar Thoma Church of Dallas Farmers Branch. The conference theme is MOULD: Fashioning Faith Full Future.\n<ul>\n<li>As part of the preparations the conference committee is looking for a creative conference logo. For this there will be a conference logo design contest and the committee is welcoming YS members from all churches to participate. The contest is open until March 20<sup>th<\/sup>, 2024. All entries must be submitted electronically to the National Conference Committee at <a href=\"mailto:ysconf2024logo@mtcfb.org\">ysconf2024logo@mtcfb.org<\/a>. Encouraging participation from all YS members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Choir<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>If anyone would like to purchase the Hasha Kramam or Kristheeya Keerthanangal books, DMTC choir will be making these available for purchase at $10 and $15 respectively. All proceeds from the book sale will go towards Choir Fest related funding. Those interested in purchasing the books or making donations can do so in the parish hall after service or contact Mrs. Jessy Philip, Mrs. Sheena Mathews or Mrs. Sarah Laby.
