You may return to church activities after 5 days of isolating<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thank you for your understanding and cooperation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Online Weekly Prayers<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Intercessory Prayer<\/strong> on Wednesday at 7 PM (via Zoom)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fasting prayer<\/strong> this Friday at 10:30 AM (via Zoom)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Great Lent &#8220;Sandhya Namaskaram&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>The Great Lent \u201cSandhya Namaskaram\u201d evening prayers will start at Mid-Lent on Wednesday, March 15th at 7pm via Zoom. In this lenten season let us continue to prepare ourselves and meditate on God&#8217;s Word.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Yuvajana Sakhyam<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monthly meeting<\/strong> of the Yuvajana Sakhyam will be held on Saturday March 11th at 6 pm at the church. Encourage all YS members to participate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Youth Group<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>There will be<b>\u00a0Bible Study\u00a0<\/b>on Saturday, March 18th, at 1:30 pm at the church going over Joshua ch.3-4.\u00a0 All youths are encouraged to attend, please bring your Bibles.<\/li>\n<li>There will be a\u00a0<b>community service event<\/b>\u00a0on Mar. 25th starting at 10:30 am at Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Farmington Hills, MI. Registration is required to participate in the event. Zoom link and details will be provided in the youth group email<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Sunday School<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sunday School Talent Festival<\/strong> will be held on Sunday March 26th in our church sanctuary after the worship service. There will be four parts to the program which includes: singing, storytelling, quiz, and elocution. We encourage students of all ages to participate and share their talent with others for the glory of God. March 5th<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">New Vicar&#8217;s Transfer<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>As announced previously per Kalpana, <strong>Rev. Santhosh Varghese<\/strong> has been appointed as our new Vicar starting on May 1st, 2023. As an update to the parish, we have submitted all required documentation to the Diocese for Achen and family\u2019s visa application. Santhosh Achen and family have their interview for visa scheduled on Wednesday March 29th in Mumbai. Let\u2019s keep Santosh Achen, Jose Achen, and their families in our prayers as they prepare for their respective transfers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Showers of Blessings<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Mr. &amp; Mrs. Alex &amp; Sara Therakathu were blessed with a baby boy Joshua Samuel Alex on Thursday February 16th, 2023. Baby Joshua and mother are doing well. Congratulations to the family.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Updated 2022 Tax Receipts<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Our 2022 Trustees identified an error\/typo in the Tax Receipt template that was also in the tax receipts distributed to parish members. Updated 2022 Tax Receipts are available in the fellowship hall, please see the 2022 Trustees to pick up your copy. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Diocesan Sunday Offertory<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>As we observe today as\u00a0<b>Diocesan Sunday<\/b>\u00a0let\u2019s continue to keep our Diocese and its activities in our prayers. Our expected contribution this year for Diocesan Sunday is $3,040. We are requesting\u00a0<b>each family<\/b>\u00a0to contribute a\u00a0<b>minimum of $30<\/b>\u00a0to meet our target. Zeffy is a user-friendly platform set-up for not-for-profit organizations that allows for one-time and reoccurring monthly contributions with a no transaction fee option.
