Varghese Thomas)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Worship Services<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Next Sunday &#8211; December 11<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>10:15 AM &#8211; Holy Communion Service in English<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>9 AM<\/strong> &#8211; Sunday School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>We strongly encourage all members to follow COVID prevention measures when coming to the church:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Mask use is optional but encouraged<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>If you are Covid positive or have known exposure and experiencing symptoms, you are requested to stay home. You may return to church activities after 5 days of isolating<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Thank you for your understanding and cooperation<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Online Weekly Prayers<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Intercessory Prayer<\/strong> on Wednesday at 7 PM (via Zoom)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fasting prayer<\/strong> this Friday at 10:30 AM (via Zoom)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Christmas Carol Service<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Our <strong>Christmas Carol Service<\/strong> will be held on <strong>Saturday December 17<sup>th<\/sup>, at 5:00 PM<\/strong> at the church. <strong>Rev Fr. Pathrose Panuvel,<\/strong> Vicar of St. Joseph Syro-Malankara Catholic church will be the chief guest. The service will include songs from our English and Malayalam Choir and special presentation by our Sunday school children and carol rounding group. All members are invited to the Christmas carol service, requesting everyone\u2019s prayerful participation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Sunday School<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sunday School Christmas Carol Program practices:\u00a0<\/strong> There will be NO Sunday School Christmas Carol program practice today, December 4<sup>th<\/sup>. There will also be 2 practice sessions next weekend:\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday, December 10<sup>th<\/sup>,\u00a0at 10 am at the church<\/li>\n<li>Sunday, December 11<sup>th<\/sup> after service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We encourage all Sunday School students to come and participate!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2023 Diocesan Exam Certificates<\/strong> will be distributed to the Sunday School students on Sunday December 11<sup>th<\/sup>, after the service.\u00a0 Students are requested to be available at front benches to receive the certificates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Choir<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Choir General Body<\/strong> will be held today, Sunday, December 4<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022, after the worship service.The agenda is as follows:\n<ol>\n<li>Election of Office Bearers for the year 2023<\/li>\n<li>AOB with permission of Chair<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>All English and Malayalam Choir members are requested to attend prayerfully.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Senior Fellowship<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Next meeting of the Senior Fellowship<\/strong> will be held on Saturday, December 10<sup>th<\/sup>, at 11 am. Election of office bearers for the year 2023 will be held during the meeting. All Seniors are requested to attend.<\/li>\n<li>All those who are 60 years and above are requested to register their names with the senior fellowship. Please contact Mr. Samuel Philip or Mr. P.M. George to register.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Christmas Carol Rounding<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Christmas Carol Rounding<\/strong> is scheduled for 2 weekends and starting this Saturday, Dec. 3<sup>rd<\/sup>. This year we will be visiting parish families as one carol rounding group. The following is the carol rounding schedule:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sunday Dec. 4<sup>th<\/sup> <\/strong>\u2013 Prayer Group 1 &amp; 4\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Starting today <\/strong>after the service at the parsonage in Farmington Hills, MI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saturday Dec 10<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong> \u2013 Prayer Group 5 &amp; 6\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Starting at 2:00 pm<\/strong> at the residence of Mr. &amp; Mrs. K.C &amp; Aleyamma Chacko. 2846 Burningbush Dr., Sterling Heights, MI, 48314<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sunday Dec. 11<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong> \u2013 Prayer Group 3\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Starting at 2:00 pm<\/strong> at the residence of Mr. &amp; Mrs. Jacob (Shibu) &amp; Annie Thomas. 4083 Overlea Ct, Bloomfield Hills, MI, 48302<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requesting all carolers to arrive on time so that we can complete the carol rounding at a reasonable time, thank you.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Diocesan &#8220;Cheerful Giving&#8221; Campaign<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>A reminder to all members to support the Diocese \u201cCheerful Giving\u201d campaign supporting family wellness programs, youth initiatives, and neighborhood mission projects throughout the diocese and at the local parish level. Our executive members are selling donation coupons for this effort. We request everyone\u2019s generous participation. All donations should be made to Detroit Mar Thoma Church<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Trustees Appeal<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>We are coming to the yearend which means it is also the end of the church financial year. A friendly reminder to all members to submit their pending dues and any contributions for 2022 as soon as possible. Per decision of our general body the set amount for voluntary contribution for a family is $85 per month or $1020 annually. Additionally, each family is expected at minimum to contribute $50 annually towards the diocese to meet the diocese dues for our church per kalpana.
