Varghese Thomas. All General Body members are requested to attend this meeting.\n<p>The agenda is as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Election of Office Bearers and Auditors for the year 2023<\/li>\n<li>Election of Maintenance Committee for the year 2023<\/li>\n<li>Election of Refreshment Committee for the year 2023<\/li>\n<li>AOB with permission of Chair<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Worship Services<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Next Sunday &#8211; November 13<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>10:15 AM &#8211; Holy Communion Service in English (World Sunday School Day)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>9 AM<\/strong> &#8211; Sunday School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>We strongly encourage all members to follow COVID prevention measures when coming to the church:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Mask use is optional but encouraged<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>If you are Covid positive or have known exposure and experiencing symptoms, you are requested to stay home. Election of Prayer Group 4 representative for the year 2023 will be held during the meeting. All prayer group members are requested to attend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Church Fall Cleaning<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Church Fall Cleaning<\/strong> is scheduled today after the worship service. All members are requested to participate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Sunday School<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sunday School Christmas Carol Program practices<\/strong> will continue today Sunday, November 6<sup>th<\/sup> after service. There will also be 2 practice sessions next weekend:\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday, November 12<sup>th<\/sup> at 10 am at the church<\/li>\n<li>Sunday, November 13<sup>th<\/sup> after service at the church<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We encourage all Sunday School students to come and participate!<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Yuvajana Sakhyam<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monthly meeting<\/strong> of the Yuvajana Sakhyam will be held on Saturday November 12<sup>th<\/sup> at the church at 5:30pm. Election of office bearers for the year 2023 will be held during the meeting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Yuvajana Sakhyam membership drive<\/strong> is due by Sunday Nov 13<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022. Eligible church family members ages between 12 to 45 are requested share your names to YS secretary, Stanley Samuel. Membership fee is $5 for registering members to our Diocese and Kendra Yuvajana Sakhyam.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Next edition of the \u201cYuvadhara\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 will be released on February 13th, 2023. The theme for this edition is \u201cMission Centered Life\u201d. Creative content, such as poetry, story, essay, cartoon and articles with Christian values and related to the theme are welcome. Compliments are requested from Yuvajana Sakhyam families and businesses to meet the financial needs of this publication; compliments start from $100 to $250. Compliments and content must be emailed by November 30, 2022 to yuvadharanews@gmail.com.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Sevika Sanghom<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monthly Meeting<\/strong> of the Sevika Sanghom will be held on Sunday, November 13th, after the service. Election of office bearers for the year 2023 will be held during the meeting. All Sevika Sanghom members are requested to attend<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Edavaka Mission<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Next meeting of the Edavaka Mission will be held on Saturday, November 19<sup>th<\/sup>, at 5:30 pm. Election of office bearers for the year 2023 will be held during the meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Christmas Carol Rounding<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>This year\u2019s Christmas Carol Rounding is scheduled for 2 weekends, Dec. 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th. The carol rounding group is planning to visit all parish families. Those families who prefer the Carol Rounding group NOT to visit their homes are requested to inform their area prayer group leaders as soon as possible so that proper arrangements can be made.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Church Organizations &amp; Area Prayer Groups<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>All church organizations and area prayer groups are requested to elect their representatives to the executive committee before November 20th and inform the name of the representatives to the Vicar or Parish Secretary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Note on PayPal Contributions<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>On July 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022, PayPal updated its policies and now charges a fee for contributions to the church PayPal account submitted from a personal PayPal account. Members may still contribute through PayPal without being charged a fee using the PayPal Giving Fund of Detroit Mar Thoma Church. Contributions through Venmo are not affected currently.
