Varghese Thomas. All General Body members are requested to attend this meeting. The agenda is as follows:<br \/>\n1. Election of the new Vice President for the year 2022 due to resignation of previously elected member of the position<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Worship Services<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Next Sunday &#8211; May 15\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>10:15 AM &#8211; Holy Qurbana in Malayalam<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>9 AM &#8211; Sunday School<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>All are requested to wear face mask. Those who live in the same household are requested to sit together. <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>If you have a fever, cough, high temperature or any other symptoms, please stay home<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Online Payments through PayPal<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Please note that if you choose to send in your contribution through PayPal, please choose <strong>&#8220;Sending to Family &amp; Friends&#8221;<\/strong> option. Otherwise there is a <strong>3% fee<\/strong> that will be taken out of your contribution by PayPal. Theme for the retreat is: <strong>&#8220;Faith &amp; Life in Challenging Situations&#8221;<\/strong>. Mrs. Shijy Alex, member of Chicago Mar Thoma Church will be the main speaker. The institute trains evangelists to serve the Mar Thoma Evangelistic Association, dioceses and many other organizations of the church. The institute has 20 students currently who are primarily from economically backward families. Rs. 50,000, approximately $654, is needed to sponsor a student per year. Our Edavaka Mission is planning to sponsor 1 or more students and is kindly requesting your prayers and generous support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Choir<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>The new Kristheeya Keerthanangal and Hasha kramam books are available for purchase. Please see the choir representatives in the parish hall to obtain your copy. The price is as follows:\n<ul>\n<li>Kristheeya Keerthanangal &#8211; $15<\/li>\n<li>Hasha Kremam Malayalam &#8211; $10<\/li>\n<li>Hasha Kremam Transliterated version &#8211; $10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Payment accepted in the form of cash or check payable to Detroit Mar Thoma Church Choir.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Youth Group<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Youth Group is continuing the <strong>clothing drive<\/strong> in partnership with National Honors Society. Requesting all youths and church members to bring any unwanted clothes for donation. Collection will continue through Sunday, May 22<sup>nd<\/sup>. For any questions, please contact Christina Cherian or Benjamin Mathews.<\/li>\n<li>Youth group is planning to arrange a <strong>blood drive with the Red Cross<\/strong>. To finalize a date a minimum commitment of 45 potential donors is required.
