Funeral service was held on Monday, July 27th at St. Thomas Evangelical Church, Palakunnu Parish. Mrs. Preena Mathew will deliver the message based on the theme &#8220;Mary heart in a Martha world&#8221;. Your prayerful presence and participation is requested.<\/li>\n<li>Sevika Sangham is requesting your generous donations to financially support a nursing student in Kerala. Please make a check to Detroit Mar Thoma Church and in the memo write Nursing student support. Mail the check to the church address or please use Online Payment Options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Edavaka Mission<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Edavaka Mission is planning to give financial support to our Evangelists working in the Mission fields and needy community in Kerala. Requesting your kind hearted support. Please make check to Detroit Marthoma Church and in the memo write Edavaka Mission Project. Mail the check to church address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">DMTC Project Update<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Expansion work is progressing really well supported by your prayers and good weather. We have completed foundation work including all digging and concrete. Brick work, steel fabrication and carpentry work are scheduled to begin this week. This week Integrity builders will begin work on installing a temporary wall between Madbaha and sanctuary as they need to access the existing structure on the East end of the building. Project committee and Executive committee met and decided to move the Altar and other equipments to the Fellowship hall. This will help continue our Sunday services without interruption and will also help the expansion work move quickly without any difficulties. From the upcoming Sunday onwards, services will be conducted from the Fellowship hall. All the arrangements are being done to move the existing Altar and other supporting systems to the Fellowship hall.\n<p>You can view the construction progress by visiting the church website. You are also welcome to come and see the work in progress. If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact Project convener Mr. Vinod Thomas or Parish office bearers. Please continue to support the project through your prayers and generous financial support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Acknowledgements<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Thanks to Varghese Thomas Achen for leading today\u2019s divine worship service and for the message.
