All the SS children and teachers are requested to be present in the sanctuary by 9 am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Youth Group<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>No Youth Activities for this Weekend<\/li>\n<li><strong>ALABAMA NATIVE AMERICAN MISSION TRIP 2019 &#8211; <\/strong>The Alabama Native American Missions Trip will be held from June 15<sup>th<\/sup> to June 21st in Mt. Vernon, Alabama. Anyone who is 18 years and older may attend and if you are interested, more information can be found in the Youth Group Email. Registration Deadline is May 12th.<\/li>\n<li><strong>DIOCESAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP CONFERENCE 2019 &#8211; <\/strong>The Diocesan Youth Fellowship Conference 2019 will be held from July 25th to July 28th, 2019, hosted by the Youth Fellowship of the Mar Thoma Church of Dallas &#8211; Farmers Branch in Dallas. The theme is &#8220;Bloom Where You Are Planted&#8221; based on 1 Corinthians 3:6-9. Anyone who is 18 years and older may attend and if you are interested, more information can be found in the Youth Group Email. Registration Deadline is May 26th.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Senior Fellowship<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior Fellowship monthly meeting will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 3.00 pm at the Church.<\/li>\n<li>Our Senior Fellowship is arranging a trip to Sight and Sound theaters in Ronks, Pennsylvania on August 8th, Thursday to see the JESUS Show. The trip cost is $150 per person. Make check to Detroit Marthoma Church and in the memo please write \u201dJesus Show \u2013 2019\u201d and give it to SF treasurer Mr. C. V. Abraham.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Senior Fellowship National Conference &#8211; <\/span><\/strong>Senior Fellowship 5th National Diocesan Conference will be held from September 25-28 at Ascension Mar Thoma Church, Philadelphia, PA. Those who are interested to attend please contact Mr. George Thomas ( Babu ) or Mr. P.M. George for registration forms and more details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Farewell Program<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>The Farewell program of our beloved Jogy Achen &amp; family will be held on April 28th immediately after the Holy Qurbana. Please note that the service will be at 8:30am on April 28th, Sunday and the plan is to end the program by 11:30am. Lunch will be provided after the program. Everyone is welcome to attend the program and partake in the fellowship lunch afterwards. Achen will be leaving from Church at 1 pm and the departure time is 4:23 pm from Metro Airport \u2013 North Terminal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">New Vicar<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Our new vicar Rev. Varghese Thomas and family will arrive in Detroit on May 3rd, Friday at 12:30 am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Development Project<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>General body has approved the master plan for submitting to Southfield city for approval and also approved the construction plan for phase 1 which is sanctuary expansion and additional parking spaces. Last Sunday 48 families pledged 60,000 dollars towards this project and we are very thankful. We are expecting each family to pledge a one-time payment of 750 dollars or more towards this project. Project committee members are available in the fellowship hall with the pledge form. Please stop by and give your pledge and please support this project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Refreshments<\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Thanks Mr. Georgey Mathews and Mr. Samuel N. Thomas &amp; their Family for sponsoring today&#8217;s refreshments and thanks to our refreshment committee for all the arrangements.
