Mathew (52 years old, Cherukathara, Ranni) first cousin of Mr. Thomas George(Chachi) on October 17th in Philadelphia. The funeral service will be held on October 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, Monday 10am at Ascension Mar Thoma Church, Philadelphia. All are welcome to attend this session.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Youth Group<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Youth Group Get together will be held on October 27th, Saturday at 12 PM at the residence of Mrs. Siby Jacob in Troy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Regional Youth Conference 2018<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Midwest Regional Youth Conference-2018 hosted by the St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church&#8217;s Youth Group will be held from December 27th, Thursday to December 30th, Sunday at the Michindoh Conference Center. The main speaker is Dr. Shaun Rajan and the theme for the conference is &#8220;IDENTITY&#8221; based on 2 Corinthians 5:17. The registration cost is $140 and additional $10 for T-shirts. The early registration deadline is November 30th, Friday. We encourage all youths ages 13 and older to attend Regional Conference for a time of growing in your faith and enjoying fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Tenny Samuel, Tommy Samuel, Maya Abraham or Ashwin Thomas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Sunday School<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>SS is taking part in an initiative called &#8216;Kids Helping Kids Project&#8217; through the month of October. This is to help children seeking financial aid throughout the various mission fields. Every child is encouraged to contribute an offering of $1 for this and a collection box will be placed in the hall during SS time or children can hand it over to their respective teachers in the class..<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Yuvajana Sakhyam<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>This year the Yuvajana Sakhyam has decided to sponsor a nursing student in Kerala and there will be a fundraising to support this cause. Request all our Parish members to support this initiative wholeheartedly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"background-color: #eae7e7;\">Parish Convention<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>DMTC Parish convention-2018 will be held from October 25th Thursday to October 28th Sunday. Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa will be the speaker on October 25th, Thursday and Diocesan Secretary Rev. Manoj Idiculla will be the speaker from October 26th to 28th. Convention will start at 7:00 PM on Thursday October 25th, Friday October 26th and 6:30 PM on Saturday October 27th. October 28th Sunday will be observed as the Family Sunday and Tithe Sunday. Participants need to purchase the air ticket and the Diocese will reimburse one third of the air fare on completion of the trip. Approximately $250 will also be needed for the transportation, food and accommodation in India.
