Varghese (89 years old) father of Mr. Gegi George on September 3rd in Chengannur, Kerala. Funeral service was held on September 5th at the old Syrian Church, Chengannur. Jogy Oommen Philip (Vicar, Detroit Mar Thoma Church) is the new Regional President for the Midwest Region Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam. Congratulations to our Jogy Achen.Mid-West Region Yuvajana Sakhyam Conference and Kalamela-2018 will be held on Saturday, September 22<sup>nd<\/sup> from 9 am at the Chicago Mar Thoma Church. Rev.Shibu Reginold Pananchikkal (Vicar of CSI Congregation, Chicago) is the guest speaker and the theme is \u201cRenewal of life through the word of God\u201d. Baiju Markose will be the leader and the theme is Stand up, Pick up &amp; Walk (up): Celebrating Resurrection (Mark 2:9).
