We thank the Almighty God for the manifold blessings we enjoyed during the year, as an organization and as individual members. This year was our second year as an approved organization of the Diocese. It was an exceptional year and, by the Grace of the Lord we were able to accomplish remarkable things for His Glory. We held a number of monthly meetings, general body meetings and committee meetings during 2014. We were able to visit a few seniors who were home-bound due to ill-health. We also took part in a tour of Water Works Park Water Treatment Plant of Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, which was very interesting and informative. Our activities involved a presentation of Health related issues that are of special interest to seniors. As a gesture of good will and Christian fellowship, the Senior Fellowship sponsored after-service refreshments on two Sundays during the year. We were able to provide financial support to an evangelist and a needy nursing student, both in Kerala, during the year.

The most remarkable achievement during the year 2014 was the hosting of the First Diocesan Conference of the Senior Fellowship of the Mar Thoma Diocese of North America and Europe. The conference was a historical event attended by the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius, about 136 registered delegates, and other distinguished clergy and lay leaders. Thirumeni planted a maple sapling in the front south west corner of the church to mark the occasion. The most remarkable feature of the conference was the support and hard work of the entirechurch, especially our young members. The unprecedented cooperative spirit, love and care for the seniors showed by them tremendously impressed the participants, especially our Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius. According to many conference participants Detroit Mar Thoma Church is a model for unity and harmony among the organizations of the parish. We, the members of the Senior Fellowship believe that working together; we will be able to do greater things for the Glory our Lord.
