Worship Services

  • Next Sunday: October 13th (Diocesan Youth Fellowship Sunday)

Weekly Prayers

  • Intercessory Prayer on Wednesday at 6:30 pm at the Church.
  • Fasting prayer on Friday at 10:30 am at the Church.

Prayer Fellowship

  • Prayer Group 2: Will have a prayer meeting today at 5:30 PM at the residence of Mr. Georgey & Mollykutty Mathews in Farmington Hills.

  • Prayer Group 7: Will have a prayer meeting on October 13th Sunday at 5:00 PM at the residence of Mr. K. K. George & Lizy George in Sterling Hts.

Sunday School

  • Sunday School teacher’s meeting will be held today after the worship service.

Choir Members Meeting

  • A meeting of the DMTC English and Malayalam choir members will be held immediately after the worship service. All choir members are requested to attend this meeting.

Youth Group

  • Friday Prayer will be held on October 11th at 7:00 pm at the Church
  • Bible Study will be held on October 12th, Saturday at 1:30 pm at the Church.
  • Community Service Event: Youth Group community service event Zoo Boo scheduled for Saturday October 26th from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Zoo Boo is Detroit Zoological Society’s annual family-friendly, merry-not-scary Halloween event. There are few more spots open, if you are interested in attending, please contact Shereen or Jency today for more details.

Election of Representatives

  • All prayer groups and church organizations are requested to elect their representatives to the executive committee on or before November 24th.

Edavaka Mission

  • Edavaka Mission monthly meeting and General body meeting will be held on October 19th, Saturday at 5:30 pm at the church. Office bearers for the year 2020 will be elected at this meeting

Yuvajana Sakhyam

  • Yuvajana Sakhyam monthly meeting will be held as a lunch cruise on Detroit princess on October 19th, Saturday at 10 am. All are invited to attend this meeting and please contact Mr. Stanley Samuel for more details.

Sevika Sanghom

  • Sevika Sanghom meeting scheduled for next Sunday is canceled
  • Mid-west Regional conference: Sevika Sanghom Mid-west Regional one day conference will be held on November 2nd, Saturday hosted by DMTC Sevika Sanghom. If you are interested to attend this one day conference, please register your name at the table in the fellowship hall. Also make donations for the Deppi collection.

Parish Convention & Christian Family Dedication Sunday

  • DMTC Parish convention-2019 will be held from October 24th Thursday to October 26th Saturday. Rev. Aby M. Thomas Tharakan will be the convention speaker. Convention will start at 7:00 PM on Thursday October 24th, Friday October 26th and 6:30 PM on Saturday October 26th. October 27th Sunday will be observed as the Christian Family Dedication Sunday and Tithe Sunday.

DMTC Project update

  • We have received the approval letter from the city of Southfield for the expansion project and this completed the phase 1 of our project. We have spent a total of $27,000 out of the budgeted $40,000 for the phase 1. The current approval is valid for one year, which means we have to complete the project in a year. We need to finish our pledge drive for the project as soon as possible as we will be targeting to start the construction this year itself. Close to 100 families have already pledged and we hope we will have 100% participation. Those who haven’t pledged your contribution yet, please give that to the vicar or trustees as soon as possible. Please keep our expansion project in your prayers.

Refreshments

  • Thanks to our refreshment committee for arranging today’s refreshments – Ghee Rice and Shrimp Vindaloo.
