Condolences

Detroit Mar Thoma church expresses our deepest condolence at the sad demise of Mrs. Zenia John (27 years old) in a road accident on Wednesday, March 13th in Kottayam, granddaughter of late Mr. C. V. John, Chackuparabil, Anicadu brother of Mr. C. V. Samuel and Mr. C. V. Abraham. Funeral service was held in Nagapur on Friday, March 15th. May the Almighty Lord strengthen and comfort the family with peace that passeth all human understanding.

Worship Services

  • Next Sunday: March 24th
    • Holy Qurbana Service in English at 10:15 am
    • Sunday School at 9 AM
    • Adult Bible Study at 9:30 AM

Weekly Prayers

  • Fasting prayer on Friday at 10:30 AM at the Church.

Prayer Fellowship

  • Prayer Group 1 will have a prayer meeting on March 17th, Sunday at 5:30 pm at the residence of Mr. Mathew (Babukutty) & Saramma Abraham in Livonia.

THE GREAT LENT

  • The Great Lent worship “Sandhya Namaskaram” will be held Monday thru Friday at 7 pm at the church.

Youth Group

  • There will be no Youth Group Friday Prayer on March 22nd, Friday because of Lent prayer. Youth group members are requested to attend Lent Prayer – Sandhyanamskaram at church at 7 pm.
  • Youth Group Community Service Event will be held at The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan on March 23rd, Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm. Bible Study will be held on March 23rd, Saturday at 1:30 pm at the church.

Senior Fellowship

  • Senior Fellowship monthly meeting will be held on Saturday, March 30th at 3.00 pm at the Church.

Parish Day Lunch

  • Lunch will be provided after the Parish day celebration. Thanks to the Executive committee and Refreshment committee for all the arrangements.

Acknowledgements

Thanks to Rev. Dr. Moni Mathew for celebrating today’s holy Qurbana and the inspiring message. Thanks to Jogy Achen, P. Chacko Achen, Philip Varghese Achen, Lay leaders and Malayalam Choir for assisting today’s service.
